One ticket for the show in Charlotte, N.C., sold for $2,565.
My lord.......This is what's wrong with the world today. Some parents will actually pay this kind of money for their kid to go see an entertainer.

I didn't pay that much for my first two cars. Combined.

Ridiculous.

$2,565?

I believe this is the concert my youngest sister wants to go to. My mom shot her down rather quickly.

*twitch* She's FOURTEEN? Good god..... I thought she was way older...

And I completely agree with you--it's not like the concert wont be on YouTube as well and there will be others. And with 12,000 people going, it was just a real tear-jerker for that kid not to have a chance to get up and sing with her.

frack. it's no wonder CD sales are going down...no fan could afford them!

my kids'll get plenty of live music. as in MUSIC. and won't have to pay those prices...

Buy the tour DVD box set and watch it on the home theatre you could have bought with the money spent on the ticket...
If you want to make it a real life experience has a bunch of people over, wave lighters in the air and turn off the AC so it gets warm in there... then go sit in the car for an hour to mimic leaving the parking lot... and don't forget to spill half a glass of soda on yourself to make up for the rude guy or girl who normally runs into you in the lobby.

Thats rediculous. IMO she isn't even that good. and the regular price of $65 IMO is also rediculous. The most I ever paid for a concert was $58 and that was for Marilyn Manson.

HOLY CRAP!

All I can say is NOT WITH MY MONEY! If one of my kids had it saved up then they could foot the bill.............
