Ahhhhh :yikes:

There is this girl on a chihuahua forum who is insistant upon breeding her very out of standards chihuahuas... one with floppy ears and a deer shaped head, and the other with a really long snout. She says that they are show quality, and that I'm crushing her dreams by telling her it's a bad idea.

She is very defensive and horrible at reasoning, and will post up poems about love and friendship and about how we are not all perfect. She says that she is going to rescue chihuahuas and have a kennel built for homeless dogs... I guess that excuses backyard breeding. UGH!!!

I'll PM you a link

This girl's logic is totally twisted... get this:

"I would never dash your dreams and tell you that you shouldn't be something that is in your heart and soul, something you have wished for; for years. Something you have worked at and studied."

I don't even know how to reply to this!

She thinks her dogs perfectly confirm to the breed standard  She said that they may not look like it in pictures, but they do... uh... sure they do.

She originally posted because I guess she went into a breeding chat room, and was jumped on because she didn't show her dogs. She was complaining about how judges are "mean" because it's a fault if your chi has floppy ears. She said she wants to sell pet quality AKC dogs to offer to people. Like there aren't enough pet chihuahuas already being bred

At first she said she was too busy to show because she has 4 children, but now she is saying that she is going to show because her aunt is a show breeder. The story changes with every post she writes. Then, she posted up a poem about a disabled horse to show that everyone is different and shouldn't be judged because of it.

Wow O-o
I know exactily how you feel.

My cousing has 5 dogs.

One of the a female chihuahua has floppy ears, and they are very very small, also she's very dominant with other dogs of the two sexs.

My cousings plans to breed her, she's even suggested me to buy a male, :yikes: for us to breed them, what I repplyed her no.

I showed her some of my mags with the chihuahua standars and pics of champions, and she noted her dog was out of standar, also her english cocker got the chi pregnat at 6 months, but she gave her a shot to drop the pups, but she STILL whats to breed her

She was the same person that breed a fawn female shar pei with a black and tan male, I told her that only solid colored peis are allowed, what she repplied me "Is the only pei male I know, so with who else I gonna breed her"

Worse of all, she gets very defencive, mostly because her sister had a female pug that die, appearently to overheat in a hot day, but her "vet" say the dog die of sadness because they dind't breed her, so even if I told her the dogs can't die because they aren't breed, I can't do anything when is a "vet" that says that.

She's a good person, but for the lies of that "vet" she's now a BYB

Here is this girl's breeding website.

Please keep in mind that her oldest dog is 7 months old. She has a rescue page, but has never done any rescue work.

http://officialcottrellchihuahuas.com/Home_Page.html

All our Chihuahuas are AKC Registered with CH. pedigrees. Our Chihuahuas are bred to be pets we don't worry about showing them. We have four small children and Chihuahuas I don't have time to show the dogs. But if you are looking for a beautiful AKC Registered CH. Pedigree Chihuahuas you have came to the right place. We breed for temperament and beauty.

this person may be covering herself with blahl blah blah i love my dogs, ect, but

"I only except US Postal Money Orders, it isn't that I don't trust you, in this day and age you have to be careful. I am trying to run a business no one can do that by trusting everyone on the internet. YOUR PERSON INTEGRITY IS NOT THE QUESTION HERE, it's just good business sense. No checks, and No cash {unless in person}"

all she realy sees is OOO MONEY!

Yeah, that's why tthey are so few responsanble breeders.

My guess is tyhat she died of overheat, since that week was really hot and she said the pug was patting heavely the day before she died, it could be another thing but it looks like the vet say the first thing it passed on his mind.

Back to topic I notice this

So she says they have chi with CH pedirigrees, and later she says they don't have time to show them? unless the dogs got titles before she got them.
also she says she breed only for pets, but the dogs are also show qualities she contradics herself

Her huge paragraphs are making my eyes glaze over =/

Sapphire, by CH pedigree she means that other dogs way in the back of her dogs' 5-generation AKC pedigree had their championships. I think she was bragging about the dad's grandfather having his...
