Fable has had diarrhea going on 3 days now. There's nothing unusual about it, besides that it's not a healthy firm stool (meaning no blood, odd colors or anything).
I looked in my kitchen for the most bland food I could find and found plain white rice. As her diarrhea has continued, she's been getting more rice and less kibble. Still, it's not better.
She isn't showing any other unusual symptoms. She's energetic, playful, has a nice big appetite and drinks plenty. She was filthy, skinny, and wormy when I brought her home, but she'd been dewormed and is extremely healthy besides this one thing.
Any advice? She was just at the vet for vaccinations where she passed an overall health exam with flying colors. The vet said she has "gold stars all over." She didn't have the diarrhea then, though. Should I take her back to the vet?

Fast for 24 hours to start. Then start up food again with some white rice and chicken. I usually make up a large-ish batch and feed JUST the chicken & rice. After a few days start mixing the kibble back in slowly. It usually takes about five or six days until I get back 100% on kibble.

If that doesn't solve it, I wouldn't take her back in, but I would take a stool sample in and have them run it.

Thanks Beanie! I have plenty of rice and some chicken in the freezer, too. For this the chicken should be cooked, right?

Have you given her any pumpkin? I deal with a lot of diarrhea problems unfortunately with two of my dogs and pumpkin seems to be the quickest way to get them back to normal and keep them there. And rice, too. I don't add any meat because of allergies, but I would if I could.

Three days of diarrhea is dangerous. You should go to the vet at once if your dog is already experiencing diarrhea for it may lead to severe dehydration.
