What does this mean?
Gobsmacked means "shocked." (You Brits will laugh - I had to google "gobsmacked"). It's like as shocking as if you were smacked in the mouth.

Gijora - there are six (or seven now, I guess) dogs in the house, two people who care about the dogs, and one person who I can only assume is "gobsmacked" every time a dog gets in a fight (apparently she's mentally ill). That about sum it up?

We have 8 dogs of our own. Spook makes our 9th. (Six cocker spaniels, 1 ESS, 1 pointer.) There are four of us kids, and all of us have our own dogs because we were at one time all involved in 4-H, and all still do agility. My mother is mentally ill and makes it very hard to really do much of anything about Misha. My sister may or may not plan on temporarily rehoming her this summer to protect the other dogs.

Sounds like a great idea! Sooner the better.
The problem is my mother will not allow it. The dog is still in my mom's name. And Tasha is doing 4-H with Misha this summer as well as agility and obedience, so it probably will not happen until after next September.

Annnd!!!!!

We have a break through!!!!

Spook has stopped showing aggressive behavior towards Marq. They now can walk right past each other and take no notice. Spook even began to initiate play, but Marq only likes to play with females so he got that message across. Both of them are still iffy and will never be left alone unsupervised, but can now be off leash in the same room with each other with no problem. This will make the remaining time Spook is here so much easier now.

No battery for camera, or I'd take vids. (We even almost got pictures/vids of Misha and Spook RACING around the back yard together in the heavy snowfall.) It is too bad Tasha won't be able to move out from so long from now. Misha is NOT aggressive towards Spook at all. She'll let him next to Tasha and not fight over attention, she'll let him have her bones and toys, she'll play with him and share the bed... its rather cute. And shocking.
