About a week ago it was +10 up here for a few days; crazy seasonal high in mid January that broke a 100 year old record so I decided to go out and snap a few quick ones while I had Boots out. My family has been bugging me incessantly for about 4 months now to get them some new pics showing the newest Dane in the family growing up so I finally obliged.
No tripod, basic lens and a pain in the butt considering it was such an insanely bright day and she was moving at supersonic speed; metering off the snow proved very challenging too.
Anyway, without further ado here is 'Boots', my 8 month old Great Dane having fun in 2-4 feet of the powdery white stuff.

30" at the withers, 90 pounds and still growing like a weed -
