Something to work on this weekend. (Or maybe into next month... never know :p)

Crawl : Start from Down or Sit, and "Army" crawl.

Be Shy/Hide : That cute bit they do with the paw over the eye.

Spin: Starting from Sit, dog rises, turns around, and Sits in the (approximate) start position.

Post what you've got by Friday evening. (try to phase out the lure)

Oof I don't have time to do anything that quickly but those sound like fun tricks to work on on a rainy day. :D

Batteries are dead as a doornail and can't get my camera to power up... so, I'll post what I've got so far tomorrow sometime... he already had crawl down, so we're working on that from a distance. But he's got 'spin' now! :D

The 'Hide' thing is still a work in progress. Tried the tape method, and Capone DOES NOT CARE. Tap it, try to agitate him into at least touching it or lifting his paw at all, and he doesn't give a poo. He just sits there with tape on his nose.... over his eye.... between his eyes...
Anyone know another method for that one? I've heard of blowing on the nose/eye, and that wouldn't be best for us. (It's always a play-eliciting thing for us... didn't think I'd need it for anything else. DOH)

Okay, batteries have charged until today and it turns out they weren't dead! Note to all who might stow their camera on top of the fridge (like anyone would do that): If you leave the USB cable attached, try to make sure it doesn't get shut in the freezer door!

Anyway, Crawl from a distance was a success. The hide thing was uber-FAIL. He really doesn't care if I put tape on him. At all. Leash is a minor annoyance, but not paw-worthy, apparently. We shall try, try again!

Did anyone have a better time of it than I did? :D
