It's that time again! :D

The trick is: Your dog must identify objects and bring them to you. It's completely up to you the criteria of identifying the objects; whether by name, color, shape, whatever!

The trick off officially stars November 1st, and ends November 22nd. That gives us 3 whole weeks to get this rock-solid! I can't wait to see everyone's videos.

Can you be a bit more specific about how many objects, and how or how many the dog must identify?

I believe you need to have a group of items, one of which is the one you ask to retrieve. So say you put down a cow, banana, squirrel and ball toy on the floor and instruct the dog to retrieve the item of your choice, only one or all one at a time, I suppose that's up to you. Correct me if I'm wrong.

what about finding an article that smells like you from a pile of similar articles?

Thanks for the sticky! :3

Red, the criteria is all up to you. The general idea is that the dog has to be able to identify certain objects, out of a pile or whatnot of other objects, on command. It's completely open to interpretation, as far as how advanced you want to/can get. You could also do a scent retrieve like Doberkim suggested. So there is bound to be a lot of variety in the videos!

Sorry, I should have specified.

Can I put a chair, a brick and a tennis ball in a pile and ask the dog to retrieve the tennis ball? :p

Seems like this doesn't need to be stickied....I see quite the lack of follow through on this one.

As a new user I was enticed to see the wonders of something like this only to be let down when I get to the end of the thread and....nothin'

I vote for removal of stickyness.

Maybe that one was too hard. Maybe someone needs to start a new one..a little easier.
