I would put up a "No Trespassers, Violators Will Be Prosecuted" sign. I would be worried about being sued over something--it seems that many city people do very dumb things around livestock......

I don't know if Canada has anything like an attractive nuisance law, but there are people here who have been sued when a kid trespassed to see horses, messed with horses, and then gotten injured. That would scare me.
