We had someone come into our yard and up to our back door in the middle of the night shining a flashlight in the house (turned out it was a police officer but he certainly didn't announce that fact)
Beezer was FREAKING. His hair was all standing on end and he was charging the door and slamming into it while barking and growling like crazy. He heard him before he even got into our yard and was barking an alert but when he showed up at our backdoor Beezer lost it. The door was unlocked too... oops. the dogs have gotten the sliding door open before I just thank God that didn't happen this time and glad the cop didn't try to open the door either.
After he left (STILL not knowing he was a cop at this time) we let both dogs out to canvass the yard and that was when we saw them in the yard next door and saw the patch on their uniform and asked
