Pepe my bichon frise has had a hot spot before, but not to where I saw blood. The blood on him has now dried up. I'm using Allercaine with Bittran II, Antiseotic, Anti Itch Spray for dogs. The Allercaine soothes hot spots, reduces pain & itching, helps prevent infection and controls scratching and spot chewing. I'm just wondering if I should treat him with anything else, or is it okay as it is? Should I peel the scrape off or let it fall off on its own?
