Im going to be getting my second puppy in 2 weeks time and Im fairly confident in general training for her as I trained my last puppy well enough.

However I always used to have a few problems taking her out into town or to peoples houses, once at someones house she was fine but going on the bus (the only form of trasport open to me) and sometimes walking round town could be a problem.

I want to make sure I train this puppy to be comfortable in enviroments such as the bus and in crowded areas as Id like to take her out with me where possible.

Has anyone else done this? I've done a course in clicker training so could I incorporate that?

Thanks in advance,
Susie

Clicker trianing will have about as much effect on social skills as chewing bubble-gum.

The best excercise in social development is exposure. Make sure the pup is constantly exposed to the hustle-n-bustle and it'll be trouble free. Daily trips to crowded areas and frequent bus rides from a young age will handle the disposition.
