I didnt want to derail Laurs thread about "how small is too small" but Zhucca mentioned that finding toys for tiny dogs was hard and I know people on my yorkie board mention this all the time. So I thought I would post links to a few toys that are teeny tiny and that mine have liked.

Feel free to add to the list!

Dont really have anything to add because aside from the Airkong mini balls and a small dog kong all of keely's toys are "big dog" toys.. lol..
I even went and got a large dog cuz for her because I figured no way she could destroy the big dog cuz when my friends GSD cant.. but she did.

I really, really want the ducky and the developmental toys. Do you think they may be too small for my dogs? (Monday, after all, thinks of herself as the world's first 80 pound Chihuahua.) :rofl1:

Yes Mia wants to endorse the air kong x small squeaker balls. She says they're the best and great for little dog mouths!

Hmm.... Tsuki is small but I had never thought of getting her small toys. I do get them random cat toys and jingle balls they like to play with before killing.

Mostly they just use the schnauzer sized toys.

Romeo loves his little blue wubba!

I stick to the puppy section, and occasionally I find some great stuff in the cat section 2!

Izzie loves her little Skineeze stuffing free plush flamingo. They have them in the really long sizes and then smaller sizes for smaller dogs.

Otherwise she just gets the cheapy stuffed animals from ikea, her favourite is her guinea pig and her hedgehogs.

oh yes! Skineeze are a big hit!

I usually get mine cheapo toys now too since they like to destroy their toys and they dont really mind if they are huge anyway.

Those are neat....trouble is, my Chihuahuas destroy anything softer than a Nyla Bone or Kong. They don't really like Kongs. The little tennis balls, Jose` will play fetch with and tends not to destroy those. But then there's Toker. If she gets hold of their little bones and things, she destroys those really fast. It's a shame I can't let them have stuffed things. They last about 30 seconds. I think those inter-active toys are a great idea though, for more civilized dogs. The big Nyla bones, Chulita will sometimes get and carry up onto the couch. She must be really strong because they're almost as big as she is. LOL.

VIctor is in love iwth that electronic prey sounding mouse that was suppose to be for SAncho. IT is little and it screams but it also has batteries so you would have to be careful.

Dami's favorite toy is a rope circle, with a fleece piece that goes through the middle. There is a squeek toy in it. (Not a great description, I know.) We can play tug and fetch, and if she wants, she can just chew on the thing. It's not stuffed, so she won't get stuffing all over if she rips it apart. The one stuffed animal we got her was opened and she had fun pulling the padding out of it.

Teagans favorite toy is a hedgehog that has an open belly with five small eggs that squeek. She loves taking the eggs out and then throwing the eggs around and just starring at us and squeeking them.. I think she does that just to annoy us.

Mine are across the board in their preferences.

Kya's favorite toy is a stuffed cat about the size of her.

Chloe's fav toy is a tiny squeaky bone.

River will play with anything. Especially if one of the big girls is currently playing with it.
