Hey I train my dogs with toy reinforcement more than treats, and they luv their frisbees. but they tug in between throws and the frisbees dont last long, I was looking on Cleanrun.com and they have frisbees such as the Chewber, K9 Flyer, and Squidgie, that are flexible (as I hide the toy inmy pocket during training) and seem durable as well. Has anyone used these frisbees, if so how do you like them? Or would you suggest different frisbees? The dogs are a Mini Aussie and a Sheltie Mix. Thanx!

I have the flexible soft canvas-type frisbees that I squish up into my pocket during training. I have one that is shaped like a flying squirrel, and no matter how hard my Border Collie tugs on it (He's a very powerful dog) the fabric hasn't been punctured or ripped - and I've had that toy for about 6 months. They're very durable, I love them for training.

Thanx I have one of those Squirrels also but I cant hide it from my dogs during training so its not as effective... The canvas one.. is it standing up well? I have one but the rubber tube to keep its shape can pop out cause of the huge holes in it! Thanx

I don't know much about frisbees. But on my search for dog toys, I did run across one that was advertised as super-tough yet flexible enough to fold and put in your pocket. It's made of kevlar!
