Plus it is Blood Feud not Blood Fued......

I understand your anger about the topic but not your infusion of racism.....

{edited by mod} my friends who are don't get offended by the words. i don't get upset when they call me a cracker. it's how we are, words are just words. if this is the worst thing you heard today, then it's a pretty good day. usually my day gets dimmed w/ stories of abuse of power, abuse of children, abuse of women, murder & needless death & sufferring. so i don't really see the point in getting upset over stupid words & jokes (sometimes REALLY funny jokes).
technically it's ethnicism since both groups are the same race i am. stereotypes are used because they ARE well known (they often have a grain of truth behind them).
and i have a tendancy to skip the spell check, please forgive me.

Thats great that you can talk to your friends in such a degrading manner and have them laugh. What makes you think {people} reading this forum would NOT get upset? Those are degrading and incredably rude words that are NOT called for. Just because you can say it in private to your friends does not give you the right to say it on a PUBLIC forum

After having had to look up both as apparently I'm not that versed.. I still think using those terms is pretty nasty. Why don't we just break out the N word and deem that's suddenly okay. Glad your friends and you can speak to each other like that. Most people don't. It's a good way to find ones ass kicked.

i just don't get the worry over it all. it's a waste of time to worry if someone gets offended. everything, no matter how innocuous it seems, will offend someone in this world. if you taylor your words to avoid offending people you'll never voice an opinion and that would just be sad (& stupid).
if someone of an ethnic group commonly {edited by mod} gets offended at my original post, i don't really care. i don't have time for sensitivity. it's for people who have nothing more important to worry about.

I am glad you and your friend enjoy keeping words born out of hate not affection a live. I know several Arab people and not one of them would not be deeply offended. I also have an Italian brother-in-law who would kick someone's gluteus maximus for talking like that.

Hmmm....words are just words. I wonder if people in the beer halls of Germany felt that way? Or the people listening to RTLM in Rwanda felt that way? Words are just words....do you really believe that? The worlds worst events have started with words and people believing them or ignoring them. Sorry but I won't be a believer or the person who ignores it and says nothing.

First off...ethnicism means to be a heathen, pagan or non-christian but I think I know what you are trying to say.

Stereotypes are used not because they are well known but rather because they are intellectual short cuts. It is easier to pigeonhole a group of people than try to understand that group and its difference and/or similarities. The worse thing about stereotypes is they are almost always negative and meant to lower the status of a group in the eyes of another.

I just think Chazhound is to classy for that type of stuff.....
