thyroid problem test ?

    what kind of test is used to check for thyroid problem and how much does it usually cost and what type of drugs are used to treat this problem and what side affects do they cause ?

    Hi, Anthony. Don't fret. A thyroid condition seems to be the most common among especially full-bloods. What kind of a dog do you have? The tests, I don't remember what they cost, but they are minimal in cost compared to other problems. And the meds I think are pretty minimal. It's a maintenance drug which they seem to take it more easy on us. Your vet can answer all those questions for you, as I do not know where you live. I'm sure it varies. Just know a thyroid disorder is nothing to be alarmed about and is very easily regulated with soloximine. So many of our overbred babies suffer from it... why, I don't know...

    p.s. My Eli was a golden retriever who had a thyroid issue...
