Anyone remember me coming on here needing advice on what to do with the three Pit Bulls that ended up in my tiny basement suite? First it was the mom and pup that belonged to my co workers and then the stray I found. All three dogs had limited time with me and there was serious talk of possibly putting them to sleep as there weren't options open to these poor guys.
I was given some rather harsh advice on another forum and wanted to just tell everyone here because you were all so supportive that they were wrong. All three dogs are in good homes. The pup was rehomed and is doing great, the momma dog got to stay with her owner and the stray found his home and got a fenced in yard because the owner realized his bully can't be trusted off lead and if he wanted a place to let him off, he'd have to make one. It was nice to know that those extra days I gave them paid off. They all escaped a narrow crappy ending.
So, here are the faces I fell in love with.
Mom and pup.
The stray (that looks like i have in a head lock but I didn't. I just put my arm around his neck for the photo, he was such a lover. I wish I could've had another dog because I wouldve held on to him).
and this is the only after photo I have, but its Momma dog happy to be back with her owner and me happy that she isn't coming to my house covered in all that muck.
