Hubby & I went to see a Three Dog Night concert up in Massachusetts yesterday; the concerts are outdoors which is nice. It was their 35th anniversary tour. As they played, I started to remember all the hits they had. Here are a few pics:

Scraps, yes it was the original members of the band. That made it even more special.

Avenlee, it was at the Indian Ranch in Webster, Mass. I take 84 east to 90 east to 395 south to exit #2 (Douglas/Webster).

The place is really nice. People have their RV's there for the summer right by the lake. They have a stage with seating set up. Here's a link to their website:

that looks like a fun place to begin with, but having concerts makes it even better.

I really like the outdoor concerts as long as the weather holds up; we had a sprinkling of rain but then it cleared. I got seats under the covered section, but I discovered that since I took the first row, if it rains in the wrong direction, guess who is not covered any longer. Oh well, it's still a great place.

LOL Barb! It looks like a wonderful place. I've never heard of it. I'll have to look more into it maybe for next year as I'm sure they are booked up and plus, I only get one week off left from work this year. Boy, its going to be a long last stretch from Aug. to end of Dec. Thanks for letting me know, take care !

That sounds like a great time, Barb!

Did you know that "Mama Told Me" was written by Randy Newman???? I never would have guessed - but I got to see Randy Newman at the old Bijou theatre in Knoxville a couple of years ago and he did it and talked about writing it . . . what a hoot!

It was great to see him in person, and the Bijou is a wonderful, intimate venue. I saw Tori Amos there several years ago when she was touring for "Little Earthquakes." The one I really regret missing, though, was when the Red Hot Chili Peppers were there just before they hit big with their "Blood Sugar Sex Magick" CD.
