These were the photos on the rescue's website of Ella. Her name was "Havannah" at the time. These were the photos I found on their website when I went looking online for a dog to adopt back in 2006. I saw these photos and knew INSTANTLY that she was going to be my dog.

Apparently, I had saved the photos. I'm glad I did.

That's a nice find. Maybe a little bittersweet (I'm sure I speak for more than myself when I say how much we miss Ella around here), but it's still nice to have those kinds of happy memories.

I remember those pictures well. It seems like yesterday when I first looked at them. Rebecca was so giddy about getting her. Once we had her, she very very quickly grew on me and became a daddy's girl. Miss the ears.

We had to let go of Ella last June because she had super aggressive lymphoma that compromised her health so much within 3 weeks, we decided it was best to let her go and not let her suffer.
