Wow....if that isn't power, majesty, nobility, every other dignified thing in the world...I don't know what is.

Pretty horse. Unfortunate dressage video. I love Fresians and they are becoming more popular in the dressage ring.

More horses that are often prized more for their hair than their actual ridability or usefulness... lol.

(I do like Vanners.. just don't tell anyone lol)

Beautiful horses. Both the vanners and the friesians.

I can't imagine that it would be easy to keep their feathers clean. River gets his foot furnishings grubby often enough, and he's not a pasture animal. lol

Beautiful, these horses have always been one of my favorites.
I use to work at a horse farm and we had a rescued Friesian come through for a few days. That horse was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. He would prance around all day long.

(And I also thought Fabio, lol)

Well, if that horse would have been white and purple, it would have looked exactly like my favorite Barbie horse :rofl1:

No.... seriously, what a stunning creature!

Just wanted to share.
I actually cried when I watched this. (was not even hormonal;))

Pinnacle Friesians Presents Frederik the Great - Video
I only made it through the first minute or so. He's got a gorgeous mane, but that's about it.

Ohh I like dressagey friesians (though all that hair in the way of riding.. UNSAFE lol and messy) he is pretty but I like Horse Sales Videos - Iron Spring Farm (click on Brend 413) drooooool
Meh...a better video and nicer movement on him. Friesians just are not my kind of horse.

They do ride him CP if you keep going, but even undersaddle his strongest point is his hair. And if you go to their website it seems they know that lol as they rave about it "his mane and tail speak for themselves" gag..

I would take the friesian, I do like them, they can be really decent dressage horses. But even if it turns out to be a dud someone will pay big money for a black horse with hair and then I could go rescue/buy 10 tbs.
