IS this not exactly like an indepth intro?? HAha I love it!
Anyways, my name's Renata but everyone just calls me "Ren" cause it's shorter, and easier to remember (ya I got lazy friends *shrugs*). Yes there actually is a Stimpy too but I haven't seen him in 2years and have absolutely no contacts with him anymore so I'm considering nominating someone else to be Stimpy (any takers?). BTW I'm 16years old and will be 17 in 11 days!
I have a dual citizenship to Canada and Brazil and am highly proud of both. Although, it may turn into a tri-citzenship (are those allowed?) since I'll be moving to Alaska in a couple years to start my career with a good friend of mine. We're opening up a cabin resort close to Fairbanks which also has a sled dog rescue. Teh rescued sled dogs will be involved in a dogsled tour operation as well. On top of this we will be opening a training facility with me as the head trainer (whoo boy tons to do until it will be complete!). If this plan doesn't work (though it is coming together quite nicely) I'll be moving back home and taking Chester (my *heart* horse) with me to a college (the name escapes me at the moment) to get my horse trainer's certificate and I'm going to find me a job at a stable until I finally decide what I want to do with my life.
In the mean time, I work at a restaraunt dealing with salads and deserts (our buffet has over 25 deserts to choose from!). It's not the most fabulous job around but the hours are super-felxible, I have an amazing relationship with my boss and supervisor, and there's no point starting at the bottom somewhere else when I'll be leaving in a couple years anyways.
To earn some extra cash I also do animal training around town. Mainly I work with dogs however I have had requests for cats, rats, chinchillas, ferrets, birds, goats, sheep, cows, and other animals. It can get kinda crazy with some of the "odder" animals but I love the challenge!
I volunteer at a pleasure ranch where we take in abused and neglected horses from a sister-stable who is the actually rescuer. Most of our horses have come with baggage but I wouldn't have it any other way! I love training them and working out their lil kinks. Currantly out of the 27 horses/minis/ponies residing there I'm focusing on most on 5 (Chester - 5year old TB/Andalusian/QH fleabitten/dappled/palamino, Keo - 3year old Appx QH chestnut, Teddy - 10?year old Morgan/Welsh??? bay, Pixie - age n/a breed n/a chestnut, Goldie - 12year old Quarter Horse palamino). I have been riding for 8years (started at the same place I started seriously working with dogs) and have taken it seriously from the beginning which has made me the one of the head trainers at the ranch now (co-trainer moved away). I have 2 helpers plus my students that i teach (beginners). One of my helpers I actually just met today since I had to be away from the ranch for a couple months. Our first day was rather rocky and I'm hoping we learn to be compatible! She's 4years younger than me and so much like I was at that age!!! Horse crazy, stubborn, independent but social, know-it-all. LOL
Currantly I'm a senior in highschool (Gr 12) and I'll be going back for the optional 5th year to get more credits.
I'm heavily involved in acting both in and outside of my school (through my drama teacher whom I work for sometimes doing dinner shows, movie promos, other shows, etc). I love being on stage and the centre of attention!
Through drama I have become involved in stage fighting which I LOVE!!! Every morning before school me and a couple friends get a few weapons and just go in the drama room and play. We get quite a few odd looks and attempted-heros LOL It's a great morning work-out to wake you up! The stage fighting is used mostly in productions and shows but it's funt to keep in practice. I'm certified with the rapier, saber, broad sword, knife and dagger though i fight with many more weapons. My next certifcation should logically be the 1/4 staff but it depends on DJ and Brogan's (instructors and certifiers) scheduals.
And finally I'm also a soccer player. I used to be very competitive but now that I have become ridiculously busy and am not able to commit to an intense team, I have joined a fun league. I actually play on the same team as my mum! We are called the paramedics because most of our team are paramedics! LOL
Somewhere between all that I do I find time for my abundance of friends and even a boyfriend whom I love dearly! We have been together for 1month now so that officially makes it my longest relationship! YAY!!!!
One of my few bad sides - I am a drinker. I kow I'm underage but I just really enjoy the taste of many alcoholic drinks ranging from liquors, to coolers, to whiskey, to rum and others. Due to being scarred as a child I have never and plan to never get drunk. I find it a waste of time/money/self worth. Why go out and have fun with friends if you can't even remember it and made a fool of yourself the whol time????? I do enjoy getting a buzz though which simply makes you giggley.
Hmmmm there's so much more to tell about me but my gawd this is already a long enough biography!
