Hi, this is a dog that has been hanging out at my front porch for the past 3 days. He is a super friendly dog and loves to play, I feel so bad when I have to go inside b/c my parents won't let him go in the house with the other dogs. He scratches the door and crys all night, I been just feeding him when I see him outside and stuff. Anyways...my brother is calling the shelter to take him but I'm afraid of doing that b/c if no one adopts him, he'll end up being killed and I really like this guy. If anyone in the Houston area or near the vicinity would like to adopt this guy, just let me know. Also, if there are any shelters who do not put dogs to sleep, I could also bring him there.

I would get the petfinder and see who all the rescue groups are and ask if they could take him. He looks sweet. I live in dfw. I would help if I lived closer. I only know Hound breed rescue groups. I am sure you probably have a shepard one by you.

Awe. Poor thing. Maybe he has a tracking chip in him? If he were in Colorado; I'd certainly be interested in meeting him. I think Mason gets awful lonely at home by himself during the week.

thanks for everyone's help. My dad has a friend who wanted him and took him in yesterday. We still have to wait for his wife to approve but hopefully there won't be a problem. Thanks again everyone.

Freddie,
You should have someone check if the dog is chipped. It would be really sad if some poor kid lost his dog only to find out that he was "adopted" by someone else.
