Well be careful because if that's what it is, the other dogs and Ellie could get it. Has a cat been close to them?

Ringworm is highly contagious to you and your other pets. It is a fungus and can be quite hard to get rid of. Make sure to wash all the stuff she sleeps on and have an anti-fungal hand wash on hand for you to use. Most likley the vet will give you a shampoo. They usually give Malaseb shampoo or chlorhexidine shampoo. These are both anti-fungal. Sometimes a tablet, spray or cream is also prescribed. If you get a shampoo, I would wash your other pets with it as well if they are in contact with Holly. You can also find miconazole cream at your local drug store...it treats ringworm and is the EXACT same thing your vet prescribes. Malaseb shampoo is made by DVM Pharmaseuticles (sp) and can be purchased on line for a LOT cheaper. Anyway, good luck and let us know :)
