I know, I know, it's been awhile! Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth earlier this year - I got really busy with work and other things over the summer and let chaz fall by the wayside. I'm still pretty busy with college right now, but I just wanted to pop in and see how everyone was doing!

My three are all doing well - I don't know if anyone remembers, but Cricket had to get about a third of her tail amputated in the spring. That healed without any problems; all the fur has grown back now, so she's got an adorable little fluffy club of a tail. I need to get a new picture sometime. She spent the summer getting very fat (oops. though fortunately she's lost most of it and is back to where she should be now). Newton is actually growing up - he'll be two in May! He's matured a lot in the past six months or so and has doing really well in his agility class. He also got his jr. championship at his last show. Journey has been doing very well in lure coursing and racing lately; she's earned Best In Field at the last three specialty shows we've gone to (girl is fast!). She also earned her championship at her most recent show, which is exciting. We're still planning on breeding her this spring but aren't 100% decided on a sire yet.

And now for some pictures, because I'm sure that's what you all actually wanted! These are from this summer - haven't had a chance to take new ones lately.

We went on a week-long camping trip to the Adirondacks this summer; our campsite was on an island, which meant a 30-minute canoe paddle to get out to it. Of course, the logical thing to do was to bring along all three dogs - they had a blast tearing around the island like feral beasts.

There were a few boulders that they enjoyed clambering around on

And a few pictures from the August show, because why not:

Newton’s sister Stella (on the left) being a flirt

Glamour shot

Cricket’s breeder’s new puppy

I didn’t actually get any shots of our dogs racing, but here’s Roxy, who is Journey’s littermate:

And some very sleepy dogs after a long day

That’s all, thanks for looking!

Look at Newton all grown up!! Your dogs are too pretty to be real. I was sitting on the couch when I opened this thread and immediately went to my mom "you want to see some of the most gorgeous dogs ever?" because they really really are.

Don't leave again! I need constant pictures of them!

Your dogs look as lovely as ever, I can't believe how grown up baby Newton looks. And Cricket's tail healed up beautifully.

Please god, let Shaman grow up as pretty as your dogs. Right now he's all legs and, well, legs.

I've missed them (and you) so much!!! Please never leave us again LOL

I officially must have a long haired whippet. Your dogs are so stunning and stately, and I love your photos. Congrats on all the awesome accomplishments!!

Now, more pictures please :D You've been gone for a while and you need to make amends.
