The Winter Olympics....

Yup! DVR is cleaned out and set up. We both love the olympics and will watch it non stop.

We're actually looking at trying to make the Winter Olympics in 2022. They announce the host city in 2015.


Being an analyst professionally, I weighed the pros and cons and really me not watching (or heck a ton of people not watching) isn't going to do much to combat all the icky stuff going on. Which also tends to go on in some form or another where ever there are the Olympics.

I'm still going to watch. I personally love the Olympics and I always like to watch and support the athletes. For me it's not cut and dry in terms of the negative aspects surrounding the Olympics (corruption, anti-gay rights, culling of dogs). Beijing had its fair share of controversy too. It comes with being an event held in places around the world.

I don't support the corruption, the killing, any of it. But I can voice that opinion where it matters and still watch the athletes compete.

I am concerned, disappointed, and quite frankly, frightened by the conditions happening in and around Sochi, but I still want to see athletes performing at their best and support those that made the trip to compete.

Nope. I'm tired of hearing about the Olympics already. I don't like professional sports and the Olympics are so boring.
