I was hoping it wasn't going to be Beth as when you look at the grand scheme of things the Bethscue was an abject failure. Beth was still dead - Carol got banged up and all they got in return was a Noah. I thought they had a lot more they could do with her and I loved the big brother thing she had going with Daryl and Rick. It's nice when characters can have complex relationships that don't involve sleeping with each other. Beth wasn't stupid - she was just impulsive which is fitting for the age and sheltering of the character. Everyone at this point of the game is F'ed up - each one of them a slightly different shade of damaged. The I get it at the end was I thought appropriate - I thought her reaction although short sighted was appropriate. She was simply forcing the conflict that was coming anyways. I was a little bummed we didn't get to keep the Phd for the next half of the season and it looks like all we get is Noah from Saint You Scratch my Back based on the end screen.

All That said Wow, I am enjoying this dark side version of Rick. He is just one click away from full on Shane manipulating the group to get what he wants. I loved the scene where he chased down the police guy.

I think the Bethscue could have worked if they really had wanted it to, I would have liked that if she shot Beth, beth made it or something and Daryl or one of the others could have still killed Dawn for shooting beth. I am sorry to harm on this but I hate that they killed her off without giving her a chance to flesh out, esp since (if they go the comic route) Alexandria is next and thats where Glenn and Judith die so IMO they should have kept her because they will be losing two characters as well as gaining a few, one being morgan.

Yeah Rick is one callous dude now, did you see how he regarded maggie when she gave him this look like "is beth ok?" she he is all like ... casual about it like "naw, she dead" LOL

Something just occured to me as I am watching the marathon they have on, That house that Daryl and Beth stayed at the night she got taken ... the one that was all clean and well stocked, did anyone else have the idea that the reason the Grady hospital people found Beth was maybe they were the ones who ran that house in order to pick people up?
