Can't say I can complain. :)

I'm going to try to get some more pictures of them tomorrow when the lighting is better.

Lol, yep my new apartment is right next to 4 fields of horses. They're bred by the University students and they're all branded with ATM on them. The fence is shared with my complex and they actually use the horses as a selling point, lol.

I go out there with the girls and we watch them. They were really playing yesterday. It's very relaxing to watch them, I must say. Plus it's nice that you don't feel like you're on campus when you almost are.

Wow that's so cool!

Do they give lessons or something? There must be some way for you to get on them, and with them being so close it must be tempting.

Also what are you studying in university?

I haven't ridden a horse in ages. I'm pretty content just to watch. I'm pretty sure they use them for classes and we also have a calvary too. I think GO on this forum actually raised one last year for a class? Maybe?

I'm studying math. Don't ask me why, I ask myself that often. :p

Awesome shot, I love how the front horse is like half silouetted. Wow.

What do the girls think of them?
They just watch lol. Mia tried barking at first but has discovered they ignore her. Summer just stares intently.

Nice view!

Laur - what are you wanting to do after you graduate? Math teacher?
I've actually been considering it. I would like to go to art school one day but being a teacher sounds more and more appealing to me.

Thanks everyone! I really liked it too. The horse are pretty far from the fence today but I'm charging my camera. Hopefully I'll get some more good shots!

You really caught a stunning shot there, Laurelin.

Now, don't ever set your art aside. That photo should show you that.
I fully plan on doing something with art. I just gotta figure out what.

Trained one, yes. ANSC 311 - Equine Management and Training if you're interested. Lab A is the one where you get to work with foals.

There's also the sequel to Livestock Reproduction (which I don't know the name of) where you get assigned a mare and you care for her until she drops and then you care for the foal. Didn't take that one though (ran out of time and, obviously, it's semester specific lol).

Are you on Marion Pugh? I can't remember the name of the complex at the moment (a few months gone and I'm forgetting the area already :() but there was one I looked at on that road and you had an over view of the Horse Center.
