Took the dogs out for their last walk of the night.

Bent down to pick up some crap, at the same time I felt something bite my opposite shoulder.
What do I do?

I reach up with the OPEN bag of feces and nearly smash myself in the face with it.

Luckily I caught myself before I made contact, but the stench..... I think I need some sleep

Told my second "mom" that I was thinking of future dogs and breeds I like and she gave me a talking to about how the last thing I need is another dog and what I really need to do is get a full time job.

Like, yo, I'm on track. I work hard. I have a part time job for the summer, and I'm not really looking for a second job this summer because I have a camp program that starts later. I found a subletter for my apartment so I don't have huge bills, but even when I'm at school I pay my bills and am self sufficient. I get good grades. I work hard. I've been carefully weighing my post-grad plans.

I told her that Nextdog was years away. I said it was just nice to hypothesize breeds and do research.

But the talking to just continued.

I'm heading home next week...and I'm overcome with so much anxiety...I havent worked on myself enough yet. I'm sick of living in the past...I'm still tripping over things behind me and I hate it. I'm mad at myself for it. I wish I could just forgive, forget and move on.

Really bad panic attack two nights ago. When I have these panic attacks it can take a while to recover. Just starting to finally feel better today and I go and ruin that by accidentally hitting a dog with my car. The dog was freaked out and got away and I couldn't find him to take him to the vet and animal control wasn't much of a help when I called them. Really worried the dog is going to bleed to death since he ended up in the woods. I feel so worried and sick to my stomach right now and I feel like I'm on edge which could easily trigger another panic attack.

Living with my parents is seriously going to kill me. If I'm not out of here by fall, I am probably going to go mad.
I know that feeling SOOOO well! LOL.

This isn't really a vent... Idk maybe it is... I had a long conversation about my childhood with a coworker. It felt good to finally be able to talk about it without all the pain and anxiety resurfacing.... It still feels bad to have to relive those memories though. 1 more year and move... Than I can really put this all behind me. Old man is in his 90s now, when he goes I kinda doubt I'll stay in touch with many people... So it will really only be a memory then.

Quitting a job I am good at and pays the bills, to go up and move to take a job that will make me happy and start a business is terrifying. Most people just think oooh its exciting. People at work are all jealous.

No one seems to get just how scary it is when you have a child and 2 dogs and one horse to support.

So we took my sister out for the first time last night- Just me and my other sister. She has both her legs wrapped and in casts and is in a wheelchair. We had people pulling their cars over to ask her what happened. Going through the restaurant people were asking us what happened to her.

Is this normal? Do people really stop all the people in wheelchairs to ask them what is wrong with them? Is it because she's an otherwise healthy and pretty looking 16 year old?

She had SURGERY to fix a birth defect on both her legs. Maybe they think she broke both legs? I don't know... either way it's not their business.

Idk. It was weird.

People suck. It baffles me because I have never and would never even think of doing something like that. Especially the guy in the car that pulled up and rolled his window down to ask her what happened.

Uhhhh.... creepy much?

You'd think people would be used to wheelchairs by now? They're not like the most uncommon thing out there?

She's switching to a walker in the next few weeks. Hopefully people will butt out by then.

ETA: Though I guess it's not that surprising because there have been several times prior to surgery that GROWN MEN have made cracks about her 'walking funny' to her or around her. Strangers- mind you. Ugh god people make me mad sometimes. Yay you made fun of a teenager/preteen (at the time) girl because she walks funny. go you. I think they thought they were just being funny but she's cried after that before. She's been really concerned about the wheelchair and walker and I was assuring her that it was ok and people were used to seeing wheelchairs and all that... and we get out of the car and a guy pulls over to ask us. Great start. Get in the restaurant and we get asked 3 times.

People just **** me off. And I'm a protective sister.

People are just terrible. & Yes, that is creepy.

I'm pretty sure I lost my camera case while biking. I have 4 days to find a new one before I leave, plus it needs to be shipped here in about two days. Ugh, I hate losing things.

Why didn't clip my camera case to the strap? Stupid.Stupid.Stupid

ETA: Does it really matter if the case isn't made for that specific camera? Can I just go out,& buy a case that fits the camera?

Apparently I should never go away for more than 8 hours at a time.

The house now reeks of stale cigarette (he thinks it's okay to smoke inside when I am away) and of course the vacuuming and laundry didn't get done (I asked if he could please do 1 of the 2 this weekend).
Oh and hangers are just totally disregarded now, and we throw clothes on the bar instead.

Sometimes I hate living with Josh.
