So, my previous co-signer for school can't co-sign for me anymore. And I have nobody else with the credit score to sign for me. I'll be going to a couple banks on Friday to see if I can get independent loans. If not, well, I guess I'll drop out?

I finally found the perfect field, everything I want. My dream job, essentially. And now I'm probably going to lose it all.

I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but I feel so defeated.

Woke up in the middle of the night with my right eye hurting. I've either scratched it, or my old ulcer is acting up again as it likes to do. It was so painful I couldn't get back to sleep for a few hours, but on the upside, not the most painful I've ever had. It has finally stopped hurting, which is good. I'm looking at a week without putting a contact lens in that eye though.

Trying to decide if I want to spend money to go to an eye doctor, but I don't really have any extra to spare. I mean, I know it's my eye, and you shouldn't really mess around with eye problems. But I also pretty much know what the issue is, and if I just leave my contact out, it will heal itself. That's all they're going to tell me at the eye doctor. I could just wait a week and then go in and say "Yeah so this happened, I just want to know if I'm healed yet." Because that's really the most important part.

This will make for an interesting 11 miler this weekend though, only being able to see properly out of one eye... better hit the woods and use the bike trail where there's no cars. =P

Once again, my boyfriend said he'd drive me to work and pick me up, and once again, he's going to be over an hour late to come get me.

I know I couldn't... I wouldn't have been able to go to school if I hadn't found a cosigner to get a loan for over 10 grand. Ridiculous. And that was for one year!

Not a vent but I got pulled over yesterday for the first time and got a speeding ticket. I cried for the entire afternoon even at work it was embarrassing. I was coming down a hill and just wasn't paying attention to my speed. :/ sucks. I've been driving so slow all day lol

We just got some terrible news that a friend of ours son. who is in the service was killed in action. While I never met the young man, OH had known him since he was a small kid and is devastated. I am devastated for them all, he was only 25 or so

We had a shooting in the trashiest college bar in town that ended up fatal. The most ****ing annoying thing ever is the influx of FB posts how EVERYONE under the sun was practically there. "I almost went there that night!" "I was going to go there and totally last minute decided not to, omg!"

I don't know why but those kind of things always annoy the **** out of me. Some douche took a video of the guy being worked on at the scene and all the panic and posted it on youtube as quick as he could.

We didn't know the extent of his injuries (the army is very hush hush about those things apparently), but the death was sudden, and it was a shock to everyone, his tour was up in June and he was going to come back here, I was looking forward to meeting him, I could tell that even from the stories, that he was a remarkable young man, We are all so very sad. He was an only child and his parents are devastated.

I have them in my prayers as well, I am not actively religious, but my heart goes out to them and I can only imagine the pain they are feeling

And then I try to explain I DON'T HAVE A DEGREE IN ANY EARTH SCIENCE. No I am not ducking your questions saying I don't know. I really don't know. I work on the database system and cleanup and making sure programs run smoothly. I don't do any of that stuff!

They haven't had any "what about your performance" meetings with me because I'm trying so hard and sucking at it so much. Apparently I'm pathetic. Too pathetic to reprimand? Who knows.

Except tonight there was an hour long "here's what you're doing wrong" meeting.
