My rescue lady talked me in to taking 2 kittens. If I didn't take them they would have been pts as soon as they came in. Because there is a great dane in the cat room. They were supposed to have been just weaned.
Turns out they are around 3 months old, semi feral and to top it off one has been shot with a BB gun AND has ringworm.

Oh my god. Dogs are IRRITATING. Abramsbis driving me BATTY and I don't think Cynder is feeling well, which has me concerned, and is in turn aggravating me.
You're going to hate this suggestion, but take him to the dog park to get some exercise! That's what I'm doing tomorrow. My roommate was complaining.

I ache, am coughing and my after-dinner snack consisted of two hot toddies and a dose of honey-garlic-ACV anti-sick. Took NyQuil on top.

WORST DAY EVER.

I found out today that I FAILED one of my courses this term. FAILED. I've never failed a class in my entire life and this was COMPLETELY unexpected and out of left field .. I really felt confident about my final essay and final exam. I think they got me on participation and these small weekly assignments that were due, but still. I was absolutely horrified and sobbed to my registrar about it. Thus begins the appeal process.

So I spent the rest of the day at the library cramming for my other two exams (one on Wednesday and one on Thursday), and then came home tonight to find out that my exam on Thursday is actually tomorrow. Again, I was horrified! So now I'm completely stressed, my confidence knocked, and cramming all night for tomorrow's exam. Thank god I spent the majority of the day focusing on this particular exam, so at least I'm pretty familiar with the material .. but now that I've failed that other class, I don't know how confident I'll be. Waaah. :(

/whining over. Back to the books ..

Do you ever enjoy your dogs? lol
Wait. You mean this is possible?!

My vent is that I have a performance review at work tomorrow arrrggghhh. We just had these like... 6 months ago? Not even?? It is with the vet/owner and the office manager and I think my anxiety level is going to be through the roof. I hate stuff like this. And then when negative things get said I'll have TWO people to feel awkward around the rest of the day. I just hope it's quick and painless. I suppose I should be glad that we only have like 30 minutes marked off for this and then appointments start, so we HAVE to be done by then. :p

I do, I swear. Especially when they're sleeping. :D

(Totally PMSing yesterday amd everything was just ticking me off. I think he could have pooped gold and I'd still have been mad because it smelled. LOL At about 9:30 I just gave up and went to bed as just being awake was putting me in a bad mood.)

When I work my long days, I get home after dark and the park closes at dark. :( Or else I totally would take him to run off steam. Sucks not having a fenced yard or a safe place to walk him.

went out to dinner last night with my coworkers and theres a few of them that just dont *do* leftovers, so they sent away a plate that was literally like 3/4 full of perfectly good food. it killed me to witness this. i wanted to ask for theirs to be boxed up for me because thats like 3 decent meals for me, but i felt it would be socially wrong. is this just a poor person thing? all my coworkers are married and doing well financially, so i guess wasting money like that isnt a thing for them but im still really bothered and upset by it and its the next day. all that perfectly edible food, wasted! i dont understand, and i dont understand i guess why im so distraught by it.

I know people that and it, lol when I was single I always asked them off hey didn't want their order, if I could also box it up and take it home with me lol I wasn't ashamed. I had a dog who was grain allergic so most of my meter paycheck went to her food and my bills LMBO ... Leaving very little for food.

My vent: MY PARENTS NO NOTHING ABOUT DOGS but still insist on not listening to me that it is their stupid shepherd mix Yumi that is causing all the problems not only with Josefina but then blame HER when they had their fights. (Only two a long time ago when I was not here ... Because they think it's cruel to separate the dogs so they don't :wall: ). And now they won't let me separate them while I am here either so I am forced to watch both dogs like a hawk and in doing so, I have seen that Yumi starts 90% of the arguments. Since being found (she disappeared out of our yard a while back ... Long story :/ ) she has been trying very hard to be a good dog and not cause problems when Yumi is mean to her she just walks away but she is stronger then Yumi and CAN hurt her if she wanted to ... I wish I could make my folks understand :(

No, my friend does this too and it bugs me! She'll literally order a massive meal, sometimes even appetizers, take a few bites and then send it away. I'm always like  I box that stuff right up and I'm STOKED for lunch the next day! Restaurant leftovers are so much better than a sandwich!

I hate leftovers lol. Most things just reheat horribly. At restaurants though I'll bring them home in case someone else in the family wants to eat it, but yeah usually it gets tossed.

I always eat leftovers. My mom is notorious for bringing her leftovers home and then not eating them... throws them out more often than not. It irritates me.

It probably is a poor person thing. It's probably very nice to not have to worry about wasting food (money.)

I always take leftovers home. If someone doesn't want theirs I'll sneakily say something like, "Oh! Do you mind if I take it? My dogs could use the extra calories," and they always laugh and agree that yes, yes they could. ;) It's never felt awkward and several times people have said they were glad it didn't go to waste.

I'm not poor, I'm a food enthusiast! :rofl1:
LOL okay it could be that too. I imagine Jennifer Lawrence probably doesn't like to waste food either, and she's not poor. She just likes food...

Lol "different strokes for different folks" as my mom says, but personally I was raised on leftovers because we were not poor but we did live paycheck to paycheck so we had to make everything last as long as we could, mom always had clever inventions for leftovers by making them into something else or serving them with something else :).
