Ugh these animals won't let me catch a break now. The past couple days Happy's been snorting a little bit more, it's normal for her to do that when she's eating because she like, inhales her food... but now she's snorting all.the.time. And now she just had an episode of all sorts of snorting and sneezing and there's like, snot bubbles coming out of her nose. DISGUSTING. So yeah looks like she gets to spend her whole day at work with me tomorrow.

Which, not happy about tomorrow because I get to open AND be receptionist for the day. I'm not very good at the receptionist stuff. And I have my review tomorrow. Which could either be awesome or horribly... not awesome.

I just don't really want Happy to be stuck in a run for 11 hours tomorrow, she HATES being kenneled. But with gas prices the way they are I don't really want to bring her home over lunch, either... plus that means I won't get much time to actually eat. Blah.

My neighbor's children are stupid. I was out front (our front and back yards are both fenced, but are separated by a gate. So we can leave it open, or separate the two) and they peeked over the fence to tell me their football was in the backyard. I said no problem, I'd go around back to get it. By the time I got back there, they were IN my backyard getting their ball. Thankfully I did not have Julian back there..he's small, but is not a fan of strangers. Now I'm wondering if something similar is how Aesop got out last week. We could not figure out how he got out of the backyard..we've scouted the fence for holes and could not find any and he's not agile enough to climb (nor has he ever shown a notion to). He's been stuck on a tie out for pee times in the yard, since we had no idea how he escaped (my husband heard Jules bark, went outside, and by that time Aesop was sitting by the front gate) Time for a lock on the back gate as well now, I guess.

Culture shock of going from a place that was highly concerned with legalities and the massive amounts of FCC regulations... to a place where the owner wants to do what he wants regardless of what the FCC mandates.

The FCC doesn't play, man. Their fines are no joke.

I am highly uncomfortable with this.

I'm really hungry but I have wandered back and forth through the kitchen about 100 times since I got home from work 4 hours ago... and I just can't find anything that sounds appetizing and satisfying. And now that it's after 10:30 I'm starting to get to a point where I'm just like, pffttt, I'm tired and don't even want to make myself anything and I'd rather just starve.

First world problems, seriously.

Yesterday really was a mess.

My mom from GA is out this way because she has a business trip. She was in Frederick MD approx 2 hours from me yesterday. She had to work so I was planning to hang out with Jacksonsmom until I could see her.

I woke up and got ready to leave. Walked out to my car and noticed I had a tire that was completely flat. I call AAA and they come and put my spare donut tire on.

Then I get a text from Jacksonsmom that she won't be able to hang our now because of something though won't post the reason since that's her private business. It's wasn't her fault she couldn't hang out now but I definitely was bummed.

Once the spare tire was on my car I had to run down to a tire shop to see if they could patch up my spare tire. They ended up putting a plug in it and apparently it was a nail that made my tire flat.

Afterwards I had to go to work to get my paycheck and cash that before I could drive out to MD. By now it was probably 3ish. My mom said she thought she would be free around 3:30.

Got caught in some not so fun traffic on the way up to MD and by the time I got there she still wasn't off work. Waited for about 45 min or so and she finally showed up.

Had to deal with her talking a bit about her new fiance and showing me pics of them which included kissing pics and pics of him shirtless on the beach. She knows I'm really unhappy about her and this guy so not sure why she felt compelled to show me that stuff, but whatever. Aside from that I actually had a really nice time with her.

I left probably around 10pm and didn't get home till midnight. First thing when I got home was I reallllly had to go to the bathroom. Low and behold Josh had used the rest of our toilet paper so I had to make a toilet paper run at freaking midnight.

I couldn't fall asleep even though I was exhausted so I think I maybe fell asleep around 2 am and had to get up early for work. :/

Not a vent, just more of a ":(" but my work is going to the Nashville Zoo today, but I wasn't scheduled to work! :( I asked her last night if she was sure she didn't need any help and she said "can you come in 3:30-6 to help us close?" .... So I do have to go in to work (only 2 1/2 hours though) but still don't get to go on the field trip! :( Oh well, one of my coworkers promised she'd take pics for me. :) Plus I have most of the day off to watch The Office on Netflix and go outside and work on my tan.

Really upset over last night. I hoped I would feel better in the morning but I don't. And on top of being sad and upset, my DOMS is twice as bad as it was yesterday. Everything hurts so bad even minor movements are a struggle. Brushing my teeth. Putting my earrings in. You know. Just moving in general.

So just everything hurts in both a physical and emotional way today.

boo.

I have a feeling tomorrow will be an early day at work . since my daycare doesn't open for another half an hour after that, I'm planning to leave the lad with the car. This means, however, that I won't be able to come home to let the pup out. Since we aren't allowed to bring our pets just for funsies, my plan is to bathe the squirt at lunch/after work, thus giving me a reason to have him there. I'm sure he won't mind trading another bath for an empty bladder...

We don't have a washer and dryer, I have to take the laundry to the laundromat. We go through a LOT of clothing because we have to wear a uniform for work and it gets disgusting, then we change when we get home to train our dogs, those clothes get disgusting, then we shower and change into our relax for the night clothes. I wash all of our clothing together. STOP LEAVING FOOD ROLL IN YOUR PANTS. ARGHGHHGHGHHA!!!! Nothing makes me more angry than going to get my clean clothes out of the dryer and bits of dehydrated (from the dryer) food roll are stuck to my freakin' underwear. GROSS. HOW HARD IS IT TO EMPTY YOUR POCKETS??!?!??!?

Also, I just shelled out $180 on heartworm/flea meds for the dogs...for the month of June *sigh*

I just tried on my fancy pants for the interview tomorrow. They are tight. And that makes me so sad. I've been running every other day, and with the exception of a few nights with friends, have been very good about eating healthy. :(

I was all excited because I thought they would be good and loose. Sad day.

I spent $120 on my rat at the vet today. Why oh why do I not work with exotic savvy vets so that I wouldn't have to pay that!
And my poor boy had to be poked with a needle gauge much too large for a little rat, but the solution was too thick for a smaller gauge needle. He was a very good boy but he sure did squeal for that. And I get to do it to him myself in 2 weeks. Fantastic.

My vent? I've been asked a million times this week "Do you have any of those all-natural dog treats?" "Do you have any organic dog foods?" "I need a dog food that is natural!" "I need a dog food that is holistic!" "Oh! This canned food is gluten free! I think that is supposed to be really good!". :wall: And then I show them good quality foods like say...Acana... and because it doesn't say "all natural" or "holistic" they think they aren't good. People...'natural' and 'holistic' are marketing terms with no real definition. The one food that says it's organic, doesn't have ALL organic ingredients. Gluten is only an issue if your dog has allergies to it.

If my father in law doesn't quit picking out all of MY personality flaws and blaming everything on me, I will lose my $#!t. I am to the point I'm just going to call him on all his bull and leave. And if my husband keeps allowing it to happen... Not ready to think about that possibility yet, but I can't always be the one with balls in the family. I am now working 12.hour days and still trying to keep up with everything at home and it's crap. I'm getting to the breaking point. This if the second time in three years I've let my dreams go to work around his life.
