Yeah once they are getting older and start going places, I will stop posting pics... it does make me nervous too.
i would. I don't post pics of missy hy very often for that very reason. Beautiful babies...you could always e-mail us :)

but it's the NET.......where your pics are the pics of EVERYONE online. for me, that means I don't want my babies sooooooooo public. :) I know..it's sort of paranoid, but it's ok. it's up to each individual. :)
Pretty much. I'm fine with it while they are babies, but that's about it I think. It makes me sad, but I really wouldn't want someone to post pictures of me all over the Net either.

I have wondered all along about members posting pictures of their very young children here and didn't know if it were a danger or not. I found this site,,trying to see if i was just overly paranoid or if there was really a danger to this. Will let you decide here is the link. http://www.keepyourchildsafe.org/article3.asp

well... if people are coming here to look at Hannahs pictures then they have possibly also read our other threads and know that we have guns in the home and are prepared to use them. ;)

I don't fault anyone for not wanting to post pics... but with our families so far away... putting them on the computer is the only way they get to see her.

I suppose it is just as likely that someone will see us at the mall and follow us home and study our house and do the same thing.

I personally think I would be more worried about posting pictures of dogs, especially with the rising rate of dog-nappings. What better way to scope out your next target? So if you're not worried about posting dog pictures (I'm not) then I wouldn't be worried about baby pictures either.

Thats why its best to remove tags with address and numbers before taking a picture and posting it online. I doubt it if one really wants to do harm to children via online, they'll look for children on a dog forum.

I am ultra worried when it comes to infants because my ex once threatened to take AAron to New York when we were going through the great divorce. I knew i would never find him if that happened..it was so scary and he had relatives peppered all through the city. I had no money and was a single mom with barely enough gasoline to get to work. A threat that truly frightened me. I have an account of her at one of the photo sights but it isn't open to the public. I don't post very many pics of Hy because she is a girl and she is pretty and it just seems like a bad idea, if your e-mailing at least you know who is looking at it and can send to people you trust. THe article says there is no danger however..i hope they are right. IF it is true, maybe i could share pics more often. I will wait and see what all of you think.

the article says there is no harm and not to worry.
I know I was just saying lol that if someone did want to come for hannah they may have chosen the wrong house lol. and that is it more likely that someone will find her when we are out around town and follow us home. That's all :D

I dont worry about it becuase I know she is protected. I know where she is and whose holding her (of course shes a infant) And as far as teh time Im living here she will only be with me, mom or my brother and after that I can choose to disclose my location.

Ok they're probably going to reappear... Just going to use photobucket to store the pictures so I don't have to send every single picture to my family anymore, lol!
