I saved the pics at 900x600, figuring I'd upload them to flickr, which was a mistake on my part, since photobucket doesn't resize for you as far as I know. It's really great at killing the quality, at least, since I'd never want to share pictures with you all that actually look good - that's why they're pretty much un-edited. Most are right off the camera, some have levels or a filter, but that's about it. So, basically, sorry about the quality.

RedHotDobe and I went on a road trip to GA to get stuff, go to a car show, and visit her friends down there. I brought my camera, which means there are pictures. After we got back from Georgia, I drove my exhausted little butt down to Ocean City, Maryland, and spent the day with a few friends. I had a terrible ride home from there, but we wont speak about that 5-hour drive ever again.

You're all asking why there's a pegasus beanie baby on top of a cookie. The weird little story is that one of my best friends and I are separated for the summer. She'll be in Germany, I'll be in the states. Three months of not seeing eachother at all after almost a year of not seeing eachother very often and having a somewhat strained relationship. . . it's no fun. Silvia LOVES the color blue, and this beanie baby, so we decided that every fun place I go/fun thing I do I'm going to try to bring the beanie with me take pictures of it doing stuff, so she can sort of be there even though she really isn't. So there are lots of pegasus pics in here.

WHAT'S THAT? A Doberman, you say?

Indeed it is. RedHot's family has a new dobe, and his name is Dane. He's so cute that it almost makes me not want to kill him for his incredibly rude behavior.

"Pweeze don't kill me, camera-lady, youz my new best friend!"

"Please. Kill. Him. Now."

"If you kill him, I wont eat the pegasus."

After hanging out at RHD's for some of the day and being abused by Dane, we went to pick up her LittleRedCar.

RedCar is where pegasus would be traveling for most of the trip.

When it got home, it's NEW BEST FRIEND was waiting for it at the curb! RedCar and SadCar finally meet.

Bright and way too freaking early, we set out for Georgia. WOO 495!

We also may have slightly missed our turn onto I-95 S.

Frankly, I blame the pegasus' steering for that. The lesson we learned is to NEVER let a Beanie Baby steer, even if they ARE magical. You will miss your exit and have to turn around. The actual reason we missed our exit may have had slightly more to do with my inattention than the pegasus, though.

Caitlin did a good job steering the rest of the way, though, and after that debacle we were fine.

Except for RedCar's check engine light. And reluctance about shifting into first. And second. And reverse. But the best part was, it was off and on reluctance, and did just fine every single time we had someone check it! (Hey, RedCar's slogan can be "too cool for first!")

Thankfully, we had a pegasus who could shift it into first for us. . .

. . .and long, clear stretches of I-95 to be bored out of our empty little brains on!

(I'm going to start marketing magical pegasus shift boots and see if anyone buys them.)

So I took pictures. Since there's absolutely nothing to take pictures of on I-95, I took pictures of us. Why? Because we're pretty! Okay, not really. I just took pictures of us to see how far I could push RHD before she tried to kill me.

But then we had a lunch break, and all was well with the world.

And, many hours of leg and back cramps later. . .

FINALLY!!!

When we finally got there, we had the best welcoming committee ever. More pictures of him and Molly will be coming soon.

We spent a couple days doing Uber Secret Georgia Stuff, and then we went to Southern Worthersee - a Volkswagen & Audi show. Yes, there are a few car pictures here. Scroll if that bores you.

Our destination - Helen, Georgia, a tiny little tourist trap that's completely german-themed.

The "mountains" of Georgia. Personally, I think they're big hills.

Helen has lots of river fun going on.

Except, of course, when it rains. Which it did.

Selena, RedHotDobeHead, and Alex again. They were considering eviscerating me if I pointed the camera at them again.

Then the Allmighty Pegasus decided it was time to head home. So we did that the next day.

The day after we got back, I woke up at Ridiculously Early O'clock to head to OCMD. Went to breakfast with a friend, hung out with him for a bit, then met my other friends at their hotel and had a second breakfast at a pancake house. I'm not big on pancakes, but those were sooo good. SadCar also got to see Buddy the Golf again, so here's a picture:

Then I put the pegasus on Cassie's head and made all my friends smile for a picture.

We went bikini shopping (no pictures, no luck), clothes shopping (no pictures you all will get to see, and one dress for Cassie and a skirt for Silvia), and sunglasses shopping. The first goal with sunglasses is to look good. The second is obviously for them to impair your vision!

No pics of the beach, even though we were there for ages. It was rainy and gross. Still fun, though. We had pizza aferwards and here's a picture of the glass of water Remy had.

Looks like it was fun! I miss car shows but was so sick of hondas I could not do it anymore. Will have to wait for my nissan if I ever get it.

Well, there's your problem. Maybe Honda shows are different, but nearly all the modded Hondas I see are just ricey. I've never seen a tastefully modded one in person. I've seen pics of some REALLY nice ones, though.

Pegasus, sadly, did not. I wanted to do that, but it started raining again and we just didn't have time.

Edit: iibao, Dane is in a FREAKING HUGE crate. Not sure of the brand, but it's massive.

It wasn't bad when we were younger but as you get older its all young kids trying to trade you there 88 pos for your motor or a door or god knows what Our friend runs a shop and specializes in hondas and surprise surprise he gets a lot of people that don't pay I still love a plain black early 90s prelude though.


My bf still does the meets but now spec v ones. He sets up meets out here at norwalk. I just don't like the car enough! Six speed is fun but its not a 350z

And to whoever asked about the crate, I'm not really sure about specifics on it. It's actually Rumor's, Dane just decided to get in it for some reason. It's about 5 years old now, so the chances that it's no longer being produced are probably good, lol.

Lots of interesting cars at the car show. There is a girl who works at FOHA now who drives a car that looks just like yours, Nolu, except that its red and full of care bears.
