The stray with the broken leg is still wondering around the apartment complex. It breaks my heart to still see him. Fortunately, this time I had moist dog food since I was teaching Bailey "attention". I threw a couple of peices toward him and walked away. Later, I went back and they were still there! The poor guy didn't take them. He was still there, also. Everytime I see him, he sits and looks at me, he seems like such a good dog. We look at each other and I can see his suffering and pain but I don't know what to do, other then trying to give him food. I am afraid for my well being and the well being of my puppy, but I really want to do something.
I called the humane society and the pound. Apparently, I have to bring him in. I am afraid to try to get the dog in my car, since he does show some fear toward me when I come close and I am aware this fear could lead to aggression.
What do I do???
