Kim still loves to lay down in the yard and pretend she is an outdoor dog who never has to go inside ever again. She seems to believe that if she stays veeeeery still, no one can see her. Unfortunately for her we mow the yard, so that doesn't really work out as planned.
Cookie Monster has proven to be very helpful as I find and dig out concrete pavers around the old pool site. Fine little helper dog.
Webby is the resident mouser. Kim is good but she's more of a rabbit/squirrel girl. Webster is committed to barn mouse eradication. And he's darn cute too.
And Mira...well Mira is just hilarious. My copilot and endless source of entertainment. She is sort of really into living life to the fullest lol.
Kim and Cookie fixate on the bunny hoppers in the colony stall. Kim will, and has, watched them for hours at a stretch with barely an ear twitch. For their part the bunnies either know they have nothing to fear or are very lacking in survival instinct because they will come right up to their side of the wire and sniff noses with Kim.
Princess Pouncypaws preparing to pounce. At a butterfly. And if there's no toy around to fill a retriever's mouth, grass will do just fine thank you.
The agility duo did themselves proud again. Mira's been out of the picture due to heat so she's only had one trial since July...and that one was in MN at the end of a long roadtrip so I dunno if that counts lol. But she finished up her MX title with a second place at a big two-ringer despite an extra three second hold on the table after she twitched when the judge said Go. And Mr. Consistency ran hard and picked up another QQ toward his MACH. He was really running all out this weekend...so proud of the little guy! Too bad his structure doesn't let him really flatten out and extend, but that's how it goes. He's quite a trooper.
And you know that awkward moment when you realize that you didn't bring a gift to the party and someone else is showing you up? Yeahhh...
And last but not least...My Girls <3
