The scariest dream of my life....

Everyone has their scary dreams. Even I do.

This morning I had the scariest dream of my life.

Rob, the boys, and I were visiting at Rob's mom's. We were all outside, and the boys wanted to play at the park (she lives across the street from one). So, I tell the boys we are going, and have each one grab one of my hands.

As we go to cross, Matthew sees a car coming before I do and pulls back. I step back also. Johnny doesn't.

All of it happened so quickly. The car hits Johnny, I run over to him screaming. I gently pick him up and hold him, screaming for anyone to help. I can hear Rob behind me somewhere screaming as well. I look at him and can tell there that something is dreadfully wrong.

At this point Rob tries to wake me up. He says that once he said my name, I start shaking and stuttering... he thought I was having a seizure. Then I start screaming and crying after he has gotten me awake from this dream.

All I could say was "Johnny.... where is my Johnny...I want Johnny". I am still shaking, and this happened about 20 minutes ago.

It seemed so real... every bit of it. I could even remember all his injuries that I saw...

I am so scared...

Oh that is horrible. I had one like that not so long ago where I'd turned my back on Sami(2.5 yo) in a hotel room. When I turned back to him he was sitting with his legs hanging over the wide window ledge. I didn't scream because I didn't want to startle him into falling. I spoke to him very quietly and he turned towards me. Just as I reached him he slipped and my fingertips just brushed his hair as he fell over the edge. That's when I screamed and I woke up sobbing.

I was shaking and sobbing after that. Sami slept through the whole thing, of course and woke happy as a clam not suspecting that he'd nearly given his mother a heart attack in the middle of the night.

Johnny just turned 3.

I have had dreams like this one too... but those weren't as REAL as this one. It felt so real... looked real... everything.

The only time I have dreams like that is when I am pregnant. Its usually about my kids or the baby.
Could you be Preggo?

I hate bad dreams. It always takes me awhile to w ake up, and it kind of ruins the rest of my day.

I'm so sorry. I had a dream before my mother died, she dropped my nephews off at this weird pinkified (lol) place, and she waved, and left. I was there with them but, I wasn't exactly seen for some reason.. But I was crying pretty much.. Then, I woke up to my fears, the worst day of my entire life.

That has to be horrifying. it wasn't real, and we should all be glad.. again so sorry this happened. D:

Ii've had quite a few terrible dreams myself.

Once i dreamed that all my dogs ran away from home and i couldn't catch them, no matter how much I ran after them
