I hate what some people are doing to "pitbulls" (being pictues) but I also am not crazy for what "work" some of those other dogs at the end are being used for....But I don't want to start that whole thread over again.

Those first ones were some of the shortest, stoutest Pits I've ever seen. I only saw one that I liked, that black one that was running on a beach (I think). The "working" ones showed all seemed pretty skinny and bony to me tho. It makes me curious as to what they define as a "working pit bull".

"Hippos" is the right description of that first group . . . poor critters. What people do to animals. Makes you ashamed to be a human somehow . . .

The second group of dogs were stellar!

You should catch this video too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eINuJebMKWo&NR

Just try and watch it without smiling or getting a little teary. Just try . . . I dare you ;)

As Renee said, the first would be known as hippo dogs.

"Skinny and boney" isn't bad, it's known as conditioned. ;)
They aren't skinny, they are fit. Pit Bulls are naturally smaller dogs, so 80+ pounds isn't what was originally intended with the breed, it's just what people want these days, for whatever reason. I don't know why they don't just get a bigger breed.

I think those hippi dogs are cute but are not what people should aim their breeding program towards. Thats not what they are suppose to look like. That's deformity compared to what they are suppose to look like.

Since we're sharing, I'm going to shamelessly stick one or two of mine in there. :D

The Rescue Vid
Loki's Vid -- warning, Japanese music :lol-sign:
Everyday Heroes -- the text is a little fast, sorry
Loki's bestest trick -- Just uploaded. Might need time to be processed by YouTube. If it shows as invalid, check back later.

If you like my vids, please rate 'em. Maybe they'll get viewed before those asinine attack and dogfighting vids.
