today to go to her new foster home in Colorado! :D

It's bittersweet. I'm definitely ready for her to go on to her new foster home, she'll be taken care of, and I know they will adopt her out to a good family. She's been a learning experience, showing me how hard it is to have a foster dog (sooo much more respect now for those that do this), but rewarding in knowing that by waiting for the right thing to come up, she's going to a super place.

And thank you thank you to all those that offered to help.

So, here are the last set of pictures. Taken yesterday.

She's getting long and lanky.

Jake is her buddy. <3 <3 <3

Aww :) What a cutie. Glad this one has a happy ending!

Fostering is really rough. The ones I've had at least, you get them at their worst. Smelly, not housebroken, untrained, aggression/fear issues...and by the time you finally work through it and solve some of the problems, they leave! You never get to enjoy having a nice, well behaved foster dog!

Yup! We leave in an hour to go drop her off with my trainer who's taking her to Memphis, then she'll be taken to Kansas, then to Colorado. She just had a bath, got dewormed earlier this morning, and is crying in her crate. Lol

Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.

She's gone. She's in very capable and loving hands while on her way to TN (the pup, well 'Hannah' as she named her, will be with her till Sunday when they make the switch), but it's still hard. I know I've done the right thing for her, and there was no way we could add a 5th dog time or funds wise. It's still sad, though, to see her go. . .

She is beautiful! You did a great job with her. Now you can take comfort in knowing she's on her way to her new home.

Congratulations! I hope everything works out perfectly. Kudos for you for giving her a chance. Fostering is a tough thing to do, I've had many. She is such a cutie. Everything about her reminds me of Elly.

Foolds, Zoom, I'm so sorry it didn't work out to where we could get her to you first. You can always send in a application to adopt her. :)

She's a looker :)

It's hard . . . You should have seen me bawling over Cleo, and I wasn't even fostering her, just holding her until we could get her the rest of the way home to Linda

I feel about that way, Renee. I know without a shadow of doubt this was the thing to do - EVERYTHING fell into place naturally.

But I miss her so much. So so much. :(
