Magician: Apprentice, Magician: Master, Silverthorn, and A Darkness at Sethanon is what I've been currently engrossed in.

Next, I think I'll start re-reading Proficient Motorcycling and maybe find a copy of More Proficient Motorcycling. Or I may finish Outliers. Was reading that before I got sidetracked by Magician.

Oh, also reading Welder's Handbook.

Also read On the Beach and The Postman, which are both very good post-apocalyptic books if that's your thing. On the Beach kind of dragged on at some points but it's worth the read.

Just finished My Sister's Keeper and started Harvesting the Heart which I am almost done with and then I got another Jodi Picoult book at the library today! I really like her as an author which is great because I have been looking hard for a new author to read. I like to stick with one at a time for the most part!

I just read My Sister's Keeper, looking forward to seeing the movie.

I am now reading Lost & Found by Jacqueline Sheehan.

I'm reading "Dust to Dust" by Heather Graham. I'm only about 4 chapters in, but it's very good so far. One of the main female characters is a dog trainer. I could be reading posts on chaz to hear her talk about positive reinforcement and all :rofl1:

Finished it. It's a pretty quick read, but I didn't have a lot of time for reading the last few days. I thought it was very good. It's the first in a planned four book series. Book two is scheduled for July 2010 :(

I absolutely love to read, so sometimes I'm reading more than one at a time. I've finished My Sister's Keeper and then saw the movie, what a disappointment. I will read more of her books though. Some of the best books I've read lately have been "Water for Elephants" "Flying Changes" and....oh darn the first one in that series, all by Sara Gruen. I also read "THE SHACK" Awesome book, will reread.
I'm reading "Mark's Story" currently, and Brenda Novak's Dead Giveaway.

I was also extremely disappointed with the movie My Sister's Keeper.

I just started The Shack! Glad to hear it is awesome. My mom picked it out for me. I am only on page 22 or so, cuz someone doesn't give me much time to read.

you'll love the Shack. I often had to go back and reread a page or so, cause I found out I wasn't really paying attention while I read. Then I'd be reading along and have no idea what was going on. LOL. it was well worth the time to do that though. I'm going to reread it, as soon as I can get it back, it's made the rounds at my work and now making the rounds of my friends and their families.

I just finished "Lads Before the Wind" by Karen Pryor, where she shares how she got into the whole area of positive reinforcement training, starting with her pioneering work with dolphins. In this expanded edition, she tells what she did between the end of the book (1975) and "now" (2000). The book that pretty much put her in the spotlight, "Don't Shoot the Dog!" was great reading, too.

I just started her newest (2009) book, "Reaching the Animal Mind," and I'm loving it! She even has a web site (of the same name) that provides photos and videos which correspond with each chapter of the book. Her writing style is quite enjoyable, and she has a delightful sense of humor. I'm learning SO much!

I'm glad you asked! I thought Merle's Door was absolutely one of the best books I've ever read in my life! His writing style totally engages the reader, and helps us see life through Merle's eyes. The author gave Merle the freedom to just be a dog, and the communication they shared was nothing short of phenomenal. Yeah, keep the Kleenex handy, but it's worth it.

I'm currently working on Jan Burke's "Bloodlines". If you follow her work, it's an Irene Kelly novel. It's pretty good so far. I'm about half way through it.

My mom recomended a book to me.

I started reading it and thought my mom was crazy.. The character was sadistic..

Best.book.EVER.

Loved it.

Heartstopper by Joy Fielding.. Seriously, I stayed up until 8 am just to finish it. It is filled with twists.. But the last twist is just.. wow.. I still cant get over it. It blew my mind.. Never thought I would love another book this much other then the twilight series.
