As many of you know, I lost my beloved Cheshire very suddenly at the beginning of July. There was no warning, and she was only 4 years old. Her loss left a Persian sized hole in my heart, so I had to fill it!
The baby is a traditional doll faced Persian, which means she does not have the extreme flat face that leads to so many health problems. Her coloring is known as a shaded silver. Her eyes may still turn copper, but at her age, they may also stay green.
She is still a little unsure about the boys, though I don't think Quid or Gimmick are that sure about her either. Gambit, being Gambit, doesn't care one way or the other.
I bought her some primal raw nuggets, and the girl leapt on them like a champ. No more kibbles for her!
She is already feisty and wild, and has no trouble getting to the top of her cat tree. She loves to perch on my shoulder while I'm at the computer.
This girl lacks only one thing: A name! The name I had previously chosen doesn't fit, so I'm back to the drawing board. The current contenders are: Tempest, Goddess Moon (to be called by her full name at all times), and Circe (sir-see). I'm open to other suggestions, though
And then there's this. Apparently I decided that a few nights ago was the perfect time to dye Quid and Gimmick. Too many margaritas may have been involved.
Gambit escaped the dye frenzy, though his collar is missing and my neighbor claims she heard someone in my apartment singing about a place in France where the naked coydogs dance. I'm thinking that collar may never reappear.
