Nope! There is always something new you could teach your dog and there will forever be new experiences/situations to deal with! And there is always room for improvement ;)

Both are outside having an early-morning romp, chasing the couple flakes of snow in the air. Wahoo!!!

Have you ever had a medical emergency with your dog?

Nah. I would never get them myself, but if it pleases the owner then its fine.

OC is lying "inconspicuously" next to me as I just happen to be eating some toast and Ronan is sleeping in the crate (door is open).

Tell us about your heart dog (Name, breed, why s/he's so special, etc)

Heart dog was a Boxer named Louie. He was an abused dog I found in a shelter. Despite all my love his aggressive became too much and I had to put him down after an attack on a family member......but he was my heart dog and is missed every single day. :(

Bruno is laying at my feet asleep...;)

Have you ever been bitten by a dog? :yikes:

No, I've never been bitten by a dog. But once when I was a little girl, a dog grabbed ahold of my wook scarf which was tied around my neck. He wouldn't let go and I was terrified. Fortunately, his owner came out of the house and called him.

Zoe is staring at me while I type. She wants to be a part of anything going on.

Do you ever feel sorry for your dog when you make him/her to silly tricks?

Depends on the dinner.

Dad just came in so they are upstairs checking him out.

What do you normally stuff into your dog's kong/treat dispensing toy?

Kibble that has just enough PB or yogurt to stick together and be hard tog et out, but not enough to make the kibble wet and nasty when it's thawed.

Chewing on a seal stuffie and staring balefully at me. Clearly I did something.

One of my dogs is obese right now. :( He's been putting on weight steadily since the summer. Despite all our efforts, he weighs 84 pounds. He should weigh around 65-70. I feel really awful about it. He's been for 3 or 4 rounds of tests for thyroid issues and anything else. He's well exercised, and he's on a raw diet. We have been feeding him LESS than the other two dogs who weigh 65 pounds. On the advice of my trainer, we are putting him on a more rigid diet, which I'm a little uncomfortable with. I've also bee jogging with him in addition to walks. We'll see if this does anything...

Mr. Fatty is laying on the dog bed on the living room floor. We just got back from our jog. The other two are curled up on the couch.

Other than yourself, does your dog have a favorite person?

Well Lui loves Dad, even though he ignores him most of the time, when Dad pays attention to him, he thinks it's brilliant! He gives everyone a look saying "look who's paying attention to me!".

Lui is downstairs on lookout, in case someone walks past the house, we have to know apparently. We're about to go for a walk, and he definitely knows.

What other pets are in the household, and does the dog(s) get on with them?

Yes, OC is my heart dog for sure! He is just everything I have ever wanted him to be and then some! He please me to no end yet always manages to still awe me in some way. I am soooo proud of him!

Ronan is "fluffing up" the blanket in the crate for a nap and OC is digging something out from under the couch.

Which is your favourite dog that is NOT your own and has never been owned by you (doesnt have to be a Chaz dog)

I LOVE Shaowfaceddane's Hannah. That is one dog hat I have never had, but I pray that I can talk Rob into owning one :D

Kona is lying on the couch next to me, sleeping under a blanket (it's chilly today).

She had about 3 ear infections last year -not sure the reason why. Scratching earlier this season but it's pretty much gone now with medication and bathing. No major health problems so far.

Lizzie's outside with my sister.

Well, I've not had her a whole year, but I can testify that she hates hot weather and seems to like the cold so far.

Driving my fiance insane, I suspect

Do you have the groomer paint your dog's nails?
