Oh Lord willing... Might there be a light at the end of this very looooong tunnel? I'm sure you remember all my posts about the nonsense the neighbors have done over the years.

Neighbors have been blaring their music again. We gave them until the noise ordinance of 9 pm this time. Benefit of the doubt. Still loud. They got a citation for their noise only a couple days ago. After the police came she started banging like crazy on our wall and screaming obscenities outside. this is not the first time this has happened. She FLIPS out and just POUNDS on our wall (semi detatched house) and then screams and shouts. I was considering calling back and reporting that because it's frankly, a little scary.

a moment later I saw a bright flashlight coming up the driveway and realized the police were on their way to our door!!! They HEARD her banging on the wall!!!! and then screaming obscenities. We let them in so they could hear the level of the music because after they think the police left, they turned it back up.

Cops are just as frustrated with them as we are and they are going to give us a subpoena and they'll have the option to have a hearing or pay the fine. They served them a citation tonight and then went back and served them another one for banging on our wall and screaming obscenities and turning the music back up. I hope this puts an end to it. The officers are taking this seriously now!

Tonight when we put Hannah to bed, we prayed. We prayed for guidance in how to handle this situation because it's just been getting worse. God sent the police LOL

Good! Maybe you'll get lucky and the jerks will either move out or go to jail. I hope the cops decide to drive by every day...

Yikes! Is she coming on your property to bang on your wall? Do they own or rent?
They are "semi detached" so there is a small segment of common wall between their houses.

It's really good that the police is taking them seriously! Hopefully it ends there... but yikes.

Yeah, it's a little scary. She's not the most stable person. I think she's all bark no bite but you never know. They own or they'd be long gone by now. This has been going on for 6 years!!!! But not too long ago our area changed township police departments and I LOVE the new township police we have now. They are wonderful. They keep you in the loop about what's going on.

When the officers came last night and told her to keep it down, she turned it down and then thought they had left and banged on our wall and then cranked the music up again. I guess little did she know that the police were in our house at the time and that ticked them right off. They immediately called in a 2nd citation and to mark it for the jugde to swnd a notice to attend a hearing or pay a fine.

If possible, I would start looking for another place to move to that's a detached home away from all of this. So sad to hear all that's happening.

We would live to move but we can't. There have been a LOT of foreclosures in our area and property values have dropped over $30,000 since we bought the house. We simply can't afford to move yet. Someday but not yet

Ugh, I don't have any words of wisdom but I'm sorry you're going through this. Crappy neighbor stuff is the worst, when you can't even feel safe and comfortable in your own home. I hope you get some resolution soon.

I m sorry you are going through this, I for one would love it if I had someone like you as a neighbor. Its a shame your neighbors cant see that and treat you like crap. :(

I hate my "neighbors" and we live miles away from each other LOL. They have these stupid collage kids that ride their stupid dune buggy up and down our county road on the weekends they are here, I have reported them to the police but there arent enough police to patrol every county road in our county ... as well as all the towns and whatnot, so we are pretty much on our own, its not like the city out here, where the police are just a phone call away.

Since this oil came around, a lot of shady people have moved in and it sucks because we have gone from leaving our front gate to our property open, to closing it, to chaining and locking it, to having to use bolt cutter proof chain and locks on BOTH sides of the gate, because it has been cut twice and the gate was taken off the hinges and someone tried to drive in (luckily they couldnt get the gate open wide enough, though)!

I moved out here because I wanted to get away from things like that, and now I am getting to the point where I no longer feel safe when I am here home, alone, and when I run, I take our shotgun (it has a shoulder strap) with me.

Just wanted to say I've been following this BS for years and I hope the new police force helps fix this. I understand being stuck in a shitty place and not being able to get out. I JUST got out of mine, and I hope these people GTFO or you are able to.

Thank you

Yeah it's been going on a LOOONG time. they just had someone new move in today. UGH. It's a revolving door of "room mates". who knows what drama this one will bring. the last one had a loud car and it ended with them smashing things in the road like playstations and x box's. Like... who has money to do that lol. and at 3 am!!! We weren't here (we were on vacation, thank God lol) but our neighbor told us about it and the police that were here that night told us about it because they were the ones that came out for the call.

Geeze poor police, I bet they are on a first name basis with you guys by now. LOL. Though it sounds like they are getting fed up with it, too. Maybe see if you can get a restraining order on them? Also I would put camera up around my property, even if you dont get them on video, you can record the noise they make for proof later, should you need it (I hope you dont).

I hope you get this worked out soon, you are a good neighbor and you dont deserve this.
