Happy New Years, everyone!

I'm so glad I got to be part of your life's, getting to know each other(& your dogs.). Your all truly amazing, awesome, sweet, wonderful,& so much more.

Everyone's been so supportive, & caring even when I was being such a downer(& I apologize for that.) I've learned so much since joining Chaz

There's been some bad times, but you guys could always make it better, even if it was something small.

I don't know what I'd do without Chaz, Dogforums or without all my FB friends. And, joining Chaz was definitely one of the best choices I've ever made,& I'll never regret.

See you next year,& I'm so glad I'll be a part of all your life's in 2015.

Happy new year! :)

I'm glad this forum has been a lot of help for you!

I also have really enjoyed this forum, although I do more reading than I do posting! Can't wait to see what 2015 brings!

Congrats on the new job! You got hired as a non-dog related retail job? (It wasn't clear in your post).

What are the jobs with dogs you are leaning towards? I know some careers you don't need to go to college, or at least a traditional college. A lot of times I feel like it is building connections, experience, etc. but a degree in animal behavior wouldn't hurt either.

I know for many people moving out and becoming independent can be very stressful, but i think it is so worth it! Even if most/all your money goes toward paying bills or college it is so nice.

Good luck with everything!
Thanks for the wishes! c:

Right now I'm working at a bookstore (which has enabled me to get some awesome books) but long term yeah I really am leaning toward a career with dogs.

So far, I'm interested in grooming, showing/handling, and because I get so sucked into working with them and reading about how we interact I'm also thinking training. Training is a little further in the back of my mind now since I know it can get a little more political than I prefer (I'm sure showing is too, but it appeals to me more at times - they're pretty even to me right now but I loved the atmosphere of the ring when I went to the Nat'l Dog Show). Even just being a handler or breeder's assistant is something that would make me dance right now.

Playing FFVII and haven't in years. Ahhh the nostalgia. <333
YES. "You look like a bear wearing a marshmallow!"

I've been thinking about replaying it soon. Once I'm done replaying the Assassin Creed games I think I'm goimg to have to focus on replaying my FFs.

It's soooooo good. Just the music is making me so happy. Reno just showed up and we've got the Shinra theme playing. I forget how much I love this game. They NEED to remake it. NOW.

I actually played some Assassin's Creed 1 earlier this morning. Then felt like a JRPG but the newer ones just weren't doing it for me so grabbed FFVII.

If they made a remake, I would be so amazingly thrilled. I have so much love for that entire storyline. I cried at the end of Crisis Core. Cried.

Also, for Christmas DH bought me a 3DS and I've been plahimg the Fire Emblem: Awakening. O.M.G. So much love for this game. I want to start writing All The Fanfics about my pairings. LOL

At what age did people start paying for their own phone contract?

I have an alright basic phone but I'm getting tired of the restrictions and having to pre-save web pages and info on my iPod only to have it refresh when I'm out of the house and not have access when it would otherwise be convenient with a smartphone.

It would cost me about $40-$50 a month with the plan I'm looking at. I could just stay on the family plan but my parents have been hem-hawing about getting smartphones and "maybe we'll look at this carrier" for over a year and I'm kind of tired of waiting on them and having to carry around two devices for my needs.

A lot of my friends are still on family plans (being fresh out of high school this past June and all), but of course their families have long been on the smartphone train and my parents won't allow a smartphone on the current plan but are also very slow to figure out what they do want, therefore making me stuck with em.

15, which is when I first got a cell phone. If I wanted one I had to pay for it myself.

23... So this year lol. Mainly because my contract ended so I could unlock my phone and go with a cheaper carrier without having to get a new phone.

My mom had a cell phone for a few years back when they were very pricey. Then I got her on my plan when I started working. I get a decent discount through work. I think anything under 60 is a decent deal.

My brother is in his late 20s(is it bad I can't remember how old he is?!) and still on my plan! He is in the army. He has a job. Grrrr.

... ... ... ... ... no comment. Ahahaha Let's just say I'm married and in another state...and I'm still on the family plan. o_O

In all fairness, DH and his mother have their own plan that we pay completely for, so we do have a phone bill worth two people. I'm just not ome of those people.

The only reason my sister came off the family plan is because she got married and they wanted their own family plan.
So single girl over here is still on it LOL. I do pay my portion every month and did since I got my cellphone at 17, but yeah, I'm on the family plan because it's cheaper.

haha, I'm 25, engaged, and still on the family plan... so is my fiancee. It's just cheaper for everyone (including my parents) if we stay on and pay our portion.
