missing link a decent supplement in itself, but the price is steep for something that is made up mainly of ground flax seed.

keep in mind it's just another processed product tho, and it's easy to supplement most of the same ingredients it includes in their fresh version, which i find much more beneficial.

I love it.... I am not a nutrition expert by any means. I just know what I have seen. I actually got the info. from a client of mine who uses it. When Chase was alive, he started getting arthritis and was limping. I used several types (human/ and animal) gluc. and chon. formulas. NOTHING worked. I bought the Missing Link PLUS (which is the joint formula) and within 4 days he stopped limping and was a lot more active. I was a bit pricey at the "dog bakeries" but I have seen them sell the "vet" formula...that has the "PLUS" for $10.00 cheaper.... Since then, I have recommended it to clients and so far they all love it. My bag was almost $30.00, but it lasts a long time, depending on the weight. So far, I swear by it, because it worked when nothing else did. But, every dog is different...I would give it a try and if you don't like it, then you can always find something else. I would also give him 500mg of vit. C, Omega 3 fish oil with it.
