Heheh . . . you know, after living with Buffy and Kharma, well, it's kind of hard for me to take the idea seriously of something as tiny and delicate - and determined to snuggle - as Tallulah being a vicious killer :D

Our philosophy on Bully-bashers is we either convert 'em or convince 'em :D

Remaining ignorant is not an option ;)
amen.

I get so much crap about my "demon dogs" I've completely lost my patience with it so I will do my part and keep my mouth shut during conversion efforts. :D

your dogs are gorgeous btw. my pics are coming as soon as I can get some really good ones. :)

Not everyone is aware of this, and writing something so negative gives a bad perception of the person rather than educating.
If I tell you basically that you are stupid for not knowing something, are you going to welcome that more than you would if I said "That's a common misconception but the truth is...."

I know fully well how much I have to defend my own dogs in public or elsewhere, and I'll admit that it is frustrating, but basically calling someone stupid for being IGNORANT (there's a different folks!) is not the best way to convey your message. Also, calling people ignorant doesn't go over well either, as some people don't understand it means that they are "unknowing" and not "stupid" - *sigh*
clap, clap, clap.....
GREAT great post! :hail: as an APBT owner, sometimes i feel we have to be even MORE patient than the average dog owner, simply due to an already misguided, misinformed
public perception of this breed. imo, you ALways attract more bees with honey....

yeah, i wondered this as well....

and as far as their history goes, well, it seems there are MANY theories about that, and in regards to them having any amount of "terrier" in them.
anyhow, here's a link for anyone interested in this author's theory...

Living with one and having lived with Terriers in the past, I have no doubt whatsoever that APBTs are DEFINITELY Terriers :rofl1:
