Argh, I'm getting totally obsessed with my new puppy. I just can't take my mind off it, lol! Saying that I'm looking forward to it is putting it mildly... It was different for Boris because we didn't exactly think about it much, we kinda just went and got him, then I had to spend hours and hours on Internet reading about dogs as it was my first one... Really bad, I know, but this waiting is so hard that it was much better for me
I keep looking as his picture online and telling myself that I will see him in 2 days... It's going to be great too, they are bringing the dogs from Virginia to the volunteer's house where the future owners will go and pick up the dogs. There will be 12 dogs and puppies there, so I volunteered to help them with the paperwork etc... It just won't be before Saturday at 6pm if the people who are driving the dogs up are not late. I'm really looking forward to seeing them all, just a little worried that he won't get along with Boris nor the cats. Although at 2 months I don't think it should be a problem. I'm also worried that I will fall in love with another non spoken for puppy and want to bring it home too
The problem is, we just know he is 'medium' size, so it's hard to buy stuff for him, but we don't have the choice because by the time we are done there on Saturday, the stores will be closed. So we're going to have to pick up another crate, play pen, collar, leash and bowl before we go, and hope it's the right size...
Is it always that stressful to get another dog?
