The Koolie Girls have landed!

Well, not in the States but on the ground!

The mom gave us two little girls in a group of 6 puppies and so Sara and I have our girls picked out and now just have to wait till the end of May. That time manages to seem way to short and way to long simultaneously. They were born on Thursday, March 29th our time.

Yeah, only two females in the litter and since we are both getting girls it made it a little easier!

I'm so excited for you & Sara... how amazing what an advocate you've become for Koolies. I have a feeling you'll be well known in the Koolie world for many years! I'm sure your little girl will be as gorgeous as Mr. Travy is. Will this be his girlfriend? I seriously have dibs on a puppy. Luckily breeding merle to merle Koolies is pretty common and usually safe. Especially since Trav has so little white.

We have an owner with Koolies (though I believe she has always spelt it with C), and her dogs are very nice, but so annoying. She has a black solid, and it is just stunning, nice shiny coat really does well for them!

Yay puppies!! Lindsey got first pick because she obviously devised this evil plan, so she picked merle girl #2. That defaulted me to merle girl #1 which doesn't matter because she is going to have so much more awesome than merle girl #2 anyways.

Well, Traveler will at least be known! I think he's got way to big of head given to him by how well known he's gotten. But seriously, thank you! I love this breed so much, I've met some of the most amazing people since getting involved with them and developed a love affair with all things Australian.

I never thought I would be one of those people that had a 'breed' but they just clicked with me like nothing else
