Well we went to pick strawberries today. that was lots of fun. We got TEN pounds of strawberries for less than $10 believe it or not. and man are they delicious. I lost count of how many hannah ATE while we were picking them lol. everytime I'd hand her one to put in the basket it ended up with a bite out of it lol. she was COVERED in strawberry juice. that's what we get for putting a white shirt on her DUH

She really wanted to show this lady all the strawberries she picked lol

well we bought some cream to make our own whip cream and some shortcake cups.

some vanilla yogurt to add strawberries too

and I think we might make some strawberry jam.

but otherwise I have no idea. I should make a thread with suggestions LOL

strawberries are good in salads, too
if you get some rhubarb, strawberry rhubarb pie or crisp is awesome
smoothies

We went to the park today since it was SUCH a gorgeous day. about 72 and NO humidity. it was perfect

Took Hannah to the park today and then came home and played with the hose since it was so bloody hot today. We had fun. she needed to get out since I've been sick all week.

Hannah has a habit of clinging to things. today it was her panda bear back pack and a frog garden decoration we got for my step dad for fathers day (obviously his gift is going to be a little late lol)

Yeah LOL had I known it was going to be that hot ....

but we couldn't pass up the opportunity. my moms group organized it so we would all go on the same day and get the group rate which is more than 50% off the regular ticket price. tickets are normally $56 each we got them for $25. so I just couldn't pass it up lol.

At least they have a lot of water rides and stuff so we can hopefully keep cool on those

Yeah crazy huh... AND you have to pay full price for kids over 23 months. so we would have had to pay $56 x 3

instead we got it all for $75. so come hell or high water we were getting the tickets LOL

Took Hannah to this awesome play ground today called Daniels Den. It's HUGE. there were lots of kids there but they were mostly older kids but hannah kept going up to them and saying "Hi whats your name?" lol but the older kids were really nice to her and played with her a bit. she had fun
