They were playing the Backstreet Boys at the grocery store and I caught 4 different people singing along including a grown man with a 10 or so year old kid. Made my day.

I am so excited. My parents are coming here today from their cabin in Nakusp and we are going camping for the long weekend to the lake. My two best friends and their men are coming on Friday. My brother and his girlfriend are coming as well. I am so excited to see them. Its been a few months since I have seen them. And of course my regular crew are coming. And we have two boats going as well. So I am getting really excited. Good times should be had :)

Also, birthdays today went well at work. I'm not sure how I got put in charge of that but each month we get more and more participation.

Hannah had been struggling lately with being afraid in her room at night. She is almost 6 so I know it's completely normal. I went through it as a kid, too. I tried logic, I tried giving her a flashlight... But tonight she asked me for a story without a book (the stories I make up for her) and so I told a story about a girl named Hannah who was afraid at night and along cane a good fairy and cast a spell so that only good and kind things would dwell in her room and all the shadows that scared her before would be kind friends like the doggy at the vet set and the build a beat by the tv and all the funny books she loves on the book case. At the end, The fairy left and Hannah had the sweetest dreams she ever had.

LOL just a silly story but... She went righy to sleep after that when the past two weeks or so she has been up until 11pm fretting about being scared. I am sure it's just a fluke lol but it was worth a shot lol

Had an awesome team meeting with the company I train for/with last night and I'm excited to say that starting in 2014 I will be the fourth head trainer and will be well on my way to my CPDT-KA! I am very happy and I was even able to create a mini session to lead this fall called "sport puppy" as a puppy primer add on that will cover preventing motion/sound sensitivity, learning proper engagement, drive building, correct marking, and socialize puppies to rear end awareness items, wobble boards, planks, boxes, etc. And I get a snazzy polo. Dinner was on the company AND I got paid a nice chunk of money that I was able to use to pay back my dad and friend for some help they gave me a week ago.

Then I got paid this morning at BOTH day jobs and will be collecting a hefty boarding fee Monday. Tonight starts my vacation and Tuesday we leave for BC Nats. Life is looking good. Finally able to pay off some debt and start saving!!

Woke up to a 4 day weekend, Mu cuddles, baby cuddles, and the news that Matt has tomorrow off. Now I just need to convince myself to stop cuddling so we can take Tipper to the park for awhile. Maybe I'll even get pictures for once!

Found out I actually made some money on the car I sold last night! I thought I was just selling it for the car count and the $50 I get from Subaru for selling a new car. I might actually have a paycheck coming next week!

Not necessarily good news, but entertaining, nonetheless.

Just talked to "Shorty" Rossi- "The Pit Boss" on the phone.

Not everyday something like that happens. I don't care for the guy, but I saw the company come up on the caller ID and had a mini-heart attack as I jumped from my desk to turn my music down. :rofl1:

Hooray for getting off at two o'clock! And hooray for it being sunny, so I could take the dogs out with me to Mom's and tan by the pool! Hooray for having good dogs so I can enjoy tanning while they run around in the yard without having to worry about them running off! Hooray for getting some sun!

(And boo that I have to work this weekend and I'm on meds duty, so the only day I'll really have off is Monday.)
