Gwen ran her first coursing test and got a ribbon!!! She may get a title this weekend. She went nuts over it after she was done. Ive created a monster.
She was awesome! I have a video of her second run, I'll post it tomorrow :)

Got to semi-sleep in this morning! ^^ (Gracie woke me up barking at a delivery truck delivering a package next door. Then I tried to think if they were delivering hear and I'd missed their knock, so I got up out of bed...nope, next door.)

And my UTI symptoms are almost gone! ^^

Which means once I'm off these dang meds, I can try out our new blender to make daiquiries! ^^

Just free shaped a behavior for the first time ever with any dog that I can recall with Recon. He picked it up so fast. I think I'm in love with shaping.

He is afraid of an afghan hound at the park where I work and she came in after playing with her owner to relax and get some treats and coffee for her owner, so I just started clicking for Recon to look at her, then take a few steps, and got him closer and closer until he was happily sniffing/meeting her, which is unheard of for him because he really is (was) scared to death of her... I think because of the hair in her face. YAY Recon and YAY me for shaping it! :D

Patched up a bunch of holes that Beezer dug. Filled them with top soil and then put chicken wire on top with a layer of soil on top of that. Happy digging you bugger lol

CONGRATS!!! How many points?
I *think* it's either 1 or 0, but I don't really know. There weren't many smoothies, one open dog (Logan), one puppy bitch, and 2 specials (one dog one bitch). The dog special took Best of Variety, so I think he got the points?

I figure I'll just look online after the shows are all done and processed and see how many points he has :rofl1:

Hannah had her spring concert last night with the Homeschool co op. It's always a super fun night. The kids did a great job. here is a video of one of their songs.

Hannah is the one in the dress that has a black top, light pink bottom and white shrug to the left of the screen. she is also the only one that doesn't get down to crawl on the floor so she doesn't get her dress dirty LOL.

I'm back to work after being sick! I've got a lot to catch up on, but hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have a new camera to show for it. :)

Well stinkers. If both speicals took either best of variety and best of opposite sex then neither the class dog or bitch got anything.

Awesome job anyhow! It still feels good. :)

My friend one day was saying something about "you radio people" in reference to some music related stuff...

I just got firm affirmation that yes, I do still have my Radio Superpowers.

I may not work in radio anymore but in my heart I'm still "radio people."

I like it.

Making breakfast then off for our first family hike of the summer.

It'll be a super short one, since we have Siri with us, but it will be fun to finally get out in the woods :)

Training classes should be starting soon! I don't know if she's offering flyball just yet, but we're definitely going to be doing something until flyball classes start. Cali is going to love it, and when we went last year to watch a practice session, a couple brought three Aussies with them... and I'm assuming they'll be continuing this year which means I'll get an opportunity to be around Aussies regularly. :)

Lol. Lots of dogs have no idea what to make of my two.
All the heading breeds love to try round them up. Amuses the heck out of everyone since they look like sheep apparently. Sadly my girls are not much fun for them. They run to the corner and just sit there when getting 'herded'

Yay for you guys though! I want to start shaping with Robyn, I know she'll be great at it.
