I bet you thought that Grammy being 72 would be anti -gay. Wrong !! I have never met a gay that I didn't like. Very sensitive, sincere people. My kids think I should find a gentleman friend ...... sure if he's gay ! What I don't like is any flaunting in public ....but that goes for straights too. And yes, I know many...my back neighbors are 2 gals who have 3 rescue dogs , plus many others.

I agree with you Grammy, I do not want to see anyone making out in public. What happens behind closed doors is none of my business and gay or not we are all human.

Well, I mean I have no problem with 'canoodling' in public as long as like no kids are around lol. Like, okay 2 people making out is too much... but yeah.
Like a peck whatever....

I am straight but I know alot of people who are gay/lesbian, I just dont tend to judge people by their sexual preferance. I mean its their choice and their life.

As for the public thing, I agree with grammy

I know Dorothy.........(seriously)

I have plenty of friends who are gay/bi. Some that are straight. I know one person who does HRC thats open about it. I dont see anything wrong with it, I just hope whatever orientation you are that youre happy with it, because it comes down to having confidence in yourself, and being happy with who you are.

If anyones willing, google Oasis Magazine sometime....

Am I the only strickly dic*ly one here?....who cares. If you love animals than no matter what your sexual preference is, it has nothing to do with animals. We will love you no matter what. I have a lot gay/les. friends (been in entertainment a long time....) tell us about your pets.... If you want to talk about the gay issue, the fire hydraynt is the best place. Welcome

Hi MoodyGirl
I have met many gays in my years showing dogs, GREAT PEOPLE
I have gay cousins, male/female
I just don't understand why gays need everyone to know that they are gay?
Is it a need of acceptance?

Nope, I'm not homosexual but I doubt you're the only one on the board who is.

I'll jump on the bandwagon here, I know several homosexual couples, I also know many hetrosexual couples. I don't deny who they are, it just doesn't impact our friendships. Their sexuality is part of who they are, but it's not all they are.

I have to agree with this.

I mean for example.... I love Ellen. She is hilarious and she looks like she would be so much fun. I don't care that she is gay because she doesn't care that she is gay. She is who she is. She doesn't feel the need to scream it from the rooftops and make EVERYONE accept it. She just lives her life for herself. (not in the selfish way) She doesn't care what anyone else thinks she just does her own thing.

NOW Rosie O'donnel is a whole other story. I think she claims to be gay just because it gives her a little more power because she is a "minority" now. Not only is she a woman but she is also gay :O She has to make sure EVERYONE knows it and if they don't accept it they better be ready to hear a whole lot of b*tching from her. She is a whackjob.

I have no problem with Gay people. I have known many. BUT when it changes who you really are then its a problem. When you start focusing on making people accept what you are instead of just living your life. THAT'S when it is a problem.

However, I in no way am saying that is what you are doing. Your question is quite valid :D I am just saying that there are different "types" of homosexuals. I am all for one kind but not so much for the other kind.(see A) and B)

Rosie announcing her homosexuality was her downfall. She should have learned from Ellen when she first announced it. The show that Ellen was doing at the time was immediately cancelled. The Rosie ODonnel show was also on the same network. They too cancelled her show after she announced it.

But theres still one thing left to answer - is Micheal Jackson gay?? He keeps getting in tangles with 10 y/o boyfriends..... :D

But again, I can poke fun at myself about it. I have no reason to shout it, and no reason to hide it. Its just me.
